hi there, this might be outside of your realm of expertise but I'm working on a personal essay for class and I'm trying to find an essay/treatise/declaration someone wrote about being bisexual and how bisexuality doesn't equate to only two sexes. I can't remember much, only that it is available on her (I'm pretty sure it's a her) website, which I think was either purple or blue and very early to mid 2000s-ish in my brain, and that her first name was Robin (sp.?) and I think her last name started with an O. I also want to say it was maybe first written in the 80s or 90s, but I'm not sure.
I was hoping either you might know, or someone who follows you might know -- you're a bigger blog than mine by a mile and I was hoping you might be able to help.
Thanks for reading.
Hi follow up, bisexuality question person here. Her name is Robyn Ochs (which I found immediately after sending that ask) but I still can't find the particular essay/piece I'm looking for. Here's some quotes from it though: "“For me, the bi in bisexual refers to the potential for attraction to people with genders similar to and different from my own" and "I call myself bisexual because I acknowledge that I have in myself the potential to be attracted – romantically and/or sexually – to people of more than one gender, not necessarily at the same time, not necessarily in the same way, and not necessarily to the same degree.”
Again, I think these are from the piece, but I can't find the webpage and my research isn't turning up anything. I would appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks again for reading.
my brother in christ this quote is PROMINENTLY available, pretty much in the totality of what you typed and without attribution to specific piece of writing, on Robyn Ochs' website under the "Bisexuality" page, one of the very first results that pops up when you google search "robyn ochs bisexuality definition." I don't believe it's from any particular piece of writing so much as something she simply falls back on in a lot of her educational work and promo pieces; she also tweets it pretty often. you can cite personal websites in essays, that's perfectly allowed.

Rubber Duck
Pairings: Sebastian x Reader
Wordcount: 1195
Sebastian had said he’d come round for a movie tonight but it was now past 7pm and he was yet to materialize. You had rang but it had gone straight to voicemail – he was pretty bad at charging the thing. Maybe he was asleep? You thought about ringing the house phone, but you knew that would involve Robyn going downstairs and Sebastian felt self-conscious about that, so you settled on walking over to his house.
It was summer, so the evening was light enough for you to take the back route to his house in under ten minutes, rather than going through town and definitely getting waylaid with everyone else you'd no doubt bump into on a summer's eve. You also thought in case he was now rushing over to yours, you’d at least collide.
As you approached the house, you saw your boyfriend leaning up against a tree out of eyesight of any windows – deep in thought as he puffed away at a cigarette. It was the one thing you didn’t like, but he was working on cutting down at least.
“Hey, good-lookin’!” You called when you got close enough, startling the black-haired man. He blushed – god, you loved when he got all flustered – and he bent down and retrieved the soup can from the trunk that he used to stash used cigarette butts. Although he would joke about it, really the last thing he wanted to do was burn down the place.
“Y/N, hey…” he smiled shyly, pulling you forward for a kiss. He’d also switched to menthol cigarettes after you’d confessed you hated having to wait for him to have a mint or brush his teeth to kiss him after he’d partook. “Where are you off to?”
“Did you forget?” You frowned.
He stared blankly at you for a moment before cursing. “I’m so sorry, is that tonight? I completely forgot. Ugh, I’m such an idiot…”
“Hey, it’s okay,” you interrupted, taking hold of his hand. “It’s fine, the evening’s still young. What’s got you so worked up anyway? I tried calling but your phone was off too.”
“I can’t get this piece of the module working. I’ve spent all day on it and it’s still not doing what I want it to. I’m meant to have it in tomorrow morning. I’m really sorry, I’m gonna have to cancel on you and spend the rest of the night trying to work it out. I only came out here to see if a smoke break would reset my mind.” He let out an exasperated sigh. “I’m sorry, sweetheart. I’m a terrible boyfriend.”
“Only I’m the judge of that, and I disagree. Please, how many times have I cancelled our plans for a farm emergency? Remember when I made you spend the whole evening finding the chickens? A terrible boyfriend would never."
You were meant to head into Zuzu City for the evening on his motorcycle, but when he’d arrived to pick you up he’d found you in a complete panic. Something had spooked the chickens and a few had failed to return home. You couldn’t bear for them to spend a night out in the open and the result was you and him trawling Cindersap Forest in the pitch black tracking them down, eventually collapsing in bed at 3am after safely returning them to the coop.
“How could I refuse when you were sobbing about being a terrible chicken mama?” He jabbed you in the side, teasingly.
“Chicken Protective Services would’ve been right on me!” You chuckled at your own joke. “Can I help in any way? I’m no coder, of course, but…”
“Thanks, but it’s okay. I’d ask you to come in but trust me, it’ll be boring and I’ll just be muttering angrily to myself about why the stupid thing doesn’t work.”
An idea suddenly popped into your head. Back in the dark days of working in the Joja Corporation offices, you’d overheard a couple of the developers chatting at the water cooler as they filled up their cups in the 2.5 minute hydration “break” you were allowed. One had been grumbling to another about some of his code not working. “Gotta rubber duck it, man!”
“Oh, please,” the other sighed. “No-one really does that.”
“They do, and it works.” He stressed in reply, before they headed back towards their computers.
Upon return to your desk, you’d quickly pulled up a web search for “rubber duck coding” and read an article about the so-called rubber duck theory, where programmers would read aloud code, or the process of which, to a non-judgmental rubber duck and, more often than not, the error would reveal itself.
“Well, what if I’m your rubber duck?”
He raised an eyebrow at that.
“I mean, I heard about this thing years ago – rubber duck theory?”
“Oh…” He smiled. “Yeah, I’ve heard of it.”
“Well, I can be your rubber duck! I know about as much about coding as a rubber duck does, but I could smile back…? At least give it a go,” you pleaded, grabbing hold of his hand and squeezing. “I hate to see you so frustrated.”
“It’s worth a shot, I guess… I’ve tried everything else. Only if you're sure - you’re gonna be so bored, Y/N.”
“I don’t know, you listen to me ramble about farm stuff all the time. Plus, I’m never bored when there’s such a cutie to look at.” Sebastian’s face flushed pink once again.
“See, that’s gotta stop. Rubber ducks do not flirt.”
“Maybe I’m a themed rubber duck, they have those, you know?”
He grabbed hold of your hand and started pulling you up towards his house, “No, I’m pretty sure this theory only works with a standard rubber duck.”
“Ugh, fine. I promise to be a normal, stoic rubber duck.” You held up your free hand in an oath as your boyfriend unlocked the front door and led you down towards his bedroom.
--
It took a couple of hours but you stayed true to you word and only smiled, with the occasional nod as Sebastian took you through all the code, explaining what he was trying to achieve in complete layman terms - briefly explaining arguments, algorithms, arrays, functions, variables – until he paused mid-sentence and scrolled back a couple of lines.
“Ugh, it’s right there!” He typed furiously, explaining what had gone wrong. You really hoped he wouldn’t ask you to reiterate the problem because it had gone right over your head at the speed he’d explained it… After a moment, he enthusiastically hit enter, running the module and beamed.
“There – finally! Ugh, that’s a relief. Thanks, sweetheart.” He got up and sat next to you on the bed and leant in for a kiss which you happily accepted, before pulling back after a moment, a curious look upon your face.
“What?” He frowned.
“Just thinking about that if rubber ducks don’t flirt, how can they kiss?” You pondered.
 Sebastian rolled his eyes before patting you on the head. “Good rubber duck.”
“No… I’ve changed my mind. I think I’m ready to go back to my human life.” And you pinned him down on the bed in a passionate kiss.

Count on Me|| Rash Masum x Amy Knight
Tumblr media
(Not my GIF)
This constitutes as Day 4 of @goodboybadrep-ooc's advent calendar and contains angst and illness is implied . I hope you enjoy ❤️❤️
They were on shift but Amy was feeling a bit off before shift but she decided to push through anyway. She had spent hours doing charts and other admin and now she was starting to regret her decision to come to work. Her vision was blurred and she kept getting hit by waves of dizziness.  Looking down at the paperwork she was completing and noticed that her handwriting was slowly getting worse as her hand was starting to shake.
She put her pen down and watched it for a second, then, closing her non shaking hand over it “No, no, no. Not yet. Please, not yet. I can’t do this now.” she took a deep breath and stood up moving into the staff room slowly and flicking on the kettle. Amy made herself a cup of tea and sat at the breakfast table, being hit again by an unwanted wave of dizziness. She took a deep breath trying to stabilise herself but it was unsuccessful. She closed her eyes as she felt herself slip off her stool and hit the floor, losing consciousness.
It was nearly an hour later and Amy was still on the floor in the staff room as Robyn walked in to start her shift. She threw her bag down on the floor and immediately knelt down to check  her pulse “Oh my God, Amy? Can you hear me?” As she calculated and realised that her pulse was racing she sighed “Oh Sweetheart how long have you been lying here?” she twisted so she could see the doorway and yelled “Can I get some help in here!”
Zoe and Dylan looked over and ran over. Zoe directing Max to grab a gurney “Alright Robyn. What happened?” she asked kindly “I uh.. I don’t know… I’ve only just come in. I found her like this.I don’t know how long she’s been here but her pulse is really really fast.” Zoe nodded as Max arrived with the gurney “Alright. Dylan Let’s get her through to Resus. Robyn? Can you go and alert Rash and Ethan?” robyn nodded and ran off to find the two as Max,Dylan and Zoe gently lifted Amy and quickly moved her into resus.
Robyn found Rash and Ethan still stood at the coffee dock where she’d seen them as she came in. she looked at them sadly “Oh hey Robyn! What’s wrong? You look upset.” Rash asked looking concerned.
“I need both of you to listen to me… it’s Amy. She’s in Resus” Ethan looked confused “Wait, wasn’t she on admin today?” Rash nodded “I found her collapsed in the staff room… ber pulse was racing, Dylan and Zoe are in with her now.” “Oh my God” Ethan said quietly as Rash shot off toward Resus and shot through the door to hear “Alright let’s try and wake her up, her vitals have stabilised, Doctor Masum. You shouldn’t be in here right now.” “I don’t care Dylan! I’m not going anywhere, I need to be here when she wakes up. She won’t panic as much if I’m here.” Zoe looked at him eyes full of sadness for him, pulling a stool closer to Amy “Come here. Sit. Hold her hand. We think she’ll wake up soon, Dylan and I will split yours and Ethan’s cases between us.” she said kindly, watching them. “Thank you Zoe” She nodded “It’s not a problem Rash. We’ll be here if you need anything” Dylan said quietly as Ethan walked into the room and sat on her other side. Dylan and Zoe leaving the three in peace
A few hours later Rash and Ethan were still sat by her bedside. Amy woke with a groan “Oh God…” Rash squeezed her hand “What happened love” she looked at him and, holding back tears said “I think it’s.. I.. I’m scared” Ethan hugged her then “Amy it’s okay” Amy shook her head then “It’s not okay I’m scared.”
Rash squeezed her hand again then but I will always be here. You can count on me. I promise.” he kissed her forehead then and Ethan left the room to alert Zoe to the fact that his sister was awake

The Other Autobot, Season 1 [Prologue]
Hi!
I love Transformers: Prime and have been rewatching it, so prepare for a new journey lol.
Also, I'm also putting Mayfly and Robyn into Bumblebee/Rise of the Beasts, potentially, so be on the lookout for that fic if you're interested (please let me know if you're interested cus I have a few chapters ready to go).
Now, here's the prologue and my theory about how the Autobots came to Earth, factoring in my OC.
It stands to reason that the military/Agent Fowler would be among the first responders when the Autobots crashed to Earth, so that's why I wrote it the way I did.
If there is a canon version of their meeting, I am not aware of it, so have taken liberties.
Anyway, without further ado, here y'all go! If you have questions don't hesitate to ask!
God Bless and Good Day!
~The Lupine Sojourner
"Uncle Will, when you said I should serve my country, this isn't exactly what I had in mind." I muse as we drive to yet another base.
"I know, but I promised."
I sigh.
Ah yes, the infamous promise. When I was born, Mom and Dad named Dad's best friend, William Fowler, as my godfather (and my mom's best friend as godmother, but she's…no longer around. KiA…), so when Dad was killed overseas and Mom succumbed to grief and cancer, 'Uncle' Will became my only legal guardian and even now I'm nearly 23, we're still very close.
He never let me enlist as an active-duty soldier despite my many protests, but he did get me various army contract jobs as an inspector, weapons tester, etc.
Now, he'd gotten me a job as basically an archivist digitizing and organizing reports out of a base near Jasper, Nevada.
Joy.
"I know, hun, but you know how I feel about any other service."
I roll my eyes. "Too well. I'm too young and innocent for politics, too inexperienced to be a soldier-"
"That's not why, and you know it."
I sigh. "I know. I'm sorry. I know you're just looking out for me."
"Always."
Soon, I'm shaking hands with my orientation officer. Then it's setting up accounts and employee files, learning how to enter information, getting my clearance badge to be able to handle the confidential material in the reports, on and on, all while Uncle Will got to go home.
Ugh. At least we can be under the same roof when Uncle Will isn't out on assignments.
Finally, I shake the officer's hand once more and am dismissed.
I head outside to where Uncle Will is waiting to pick me up.
"Thanks, Uncle Will." I murmur. "I realize I haven't been as grateful as I should to you for all you've done. It's not fair of me to complain about the one thing you won't let me do. I'm sorry."
"I appreciate that, sweetheart." He replies, patting my leg without taking his eyes off the road. "Apology accepted."
Unsure what else to say, I fall into silence.
We get home soon enough and I cook us up kielbasa and potatoes for dinner. Uncle Will likes it, and I figure I owe him dinner after he got me this job.
=#=#=#=#=
The first day at my new job both dragged on and was over quickly, somehow.
Regardless, I find myself yawning as I grab my keys from my purse.
The rest of the week went by in a blur of boredom and repeating files (most of which I cleared to be deleted or compartmentalized).
Ugh! I want to do something that will actually matter! Like Uncle Will!
But until he says otherwise, I'm stuck on library duty.
So I race myself to see how fast I can get a stack done, but even that doesn't do much for me.
Finally, my first week is done and I sign out to go home and see what Uncle Will is up to.
On the way home, however, I notice a star in the sky, a really bright one.
The sun wasn't set enough to see stars, so I pull over, curious.
That's when the star grew brighter and bigger…and closer!
I hastily drive perpendicular to the meteor (or whatever was coming down to Earth in a hurry) and see a large unmistakable smoke trail as whatever it is continues a crash course for the desert.
On instinct, I drive after it, surprised at the distance it goes before finally crashing.
I pull my car behind some trees and turn it off, trying to think of what to do.
I automatically grab my phone to call Uncle Will, but for some reason, I decide to investigate first.
I mean, I shouldn't report til I have all the facts, right?
So I take a deep breath and grab my taser, just in case.
The meteor is huge! Easily the biggest I've seen. Only…why does it look like metal?
And why is part of it opening?!
I scramble behind a tree and have to stifle a scream as…something comes out of what I now realize is a spaceship! An actual spaceship!
More things come out and I have to make myself take a peek. They look like robots, each of them taller than me.
I'm trembling as I snap a picture on my phone and get a better look.
They seem to be communicating, but it's not in any language I can understand.
I try to get closer, but end up kicking a rock and alerting the robots to my presence.
Before I can get behind any cover, I'm grabbed by the waist and hoisted up.
That weird language sounds from the being holding me (a small-ish female-looking robot compared to the other taller male-looking robots) as I'm hauled into the middle of the group.
"Let me go!" I scream, panicked, beating at the metal hands, but I don't accomplish anything but probably some minor bruising against the metal. "Put me down!" The grip is strong, nearly bruising my ribs, which does not help my current panic at all.
The robot's head tilts as if curious, her glowing blue eyes (something I note in every face) flickering for a moment, as do the others, I note with a glance.
The one holding me smiles. "Hey there. I'm guessing you're a local?"
I go still. "You speak English?"
"Now we do." She replies coyly.
"Easy, human." The tallest robot, painted red and blue with some metal left unpainted, intones in a deep, serious, but ultimately trustworthy voice. "We mean you and your planet no harm."
I squirm. "Then put me down!"
The one holding me does at a nod from the tall one.
"What is your designation, human?" He asks, kneeling to get closer to my level.
"Uh…my name is Robyn. Robyn Burns."
"Robyn Burns, we are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron, or Autobots."
I swallow, trying to wrap my brain around being the first human to encounter aliens.
"So, uh, you're…not gonna have to kill me cus I saw you, right?" I whimper, the thought occurring to me.
"Wouldn't be that hard." A second male, this one not as tall as the first who'd spoken, painted white and red, grumbles. "No protective shell."
I back up nervously, but the tall one puts a hand on the other's shoulder.
"Easy, Ratchet."
I swallow, still incredibly nervous as yet another male, with a black and yellow paintjob, looks at me, excited beeps and whirring the only sounds he makes.
"They're hardly that interesting or exciting." 'Ratchet' snorts. "They can't even transform!"
"Regardless, they are a species we have not encountered before, old friend. We must be open to the possibilities on this new planet."
"Um…" I hold up a hand, unsure how to go about talking to these massive robots. "How do you guys speak English so well so quick? You were speaking a different language a second ago! And what do I call you guys, anyway?"
"Autobots, obviously." Ratchet snaps.
"There is no need to make her more uneasy than she already is." The tall one replies patiently and then turns to me. "Robyn Burns, my name is Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots. You know Ratchet's name, and this is Mayfly, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead."
I nod, feeling at least a little better now I know they're not gonna hurt me. "H-hi."
"You asked how we speak Earth's languages, Robyn Burns." Optimus continues.
"Yeah, and, uh, just Robyn is, er, is fine."
"Very well." He nods. "We learned Earth's languages through what you call the Worldwide Web or the Internet."
"That fast?" I ask automatically, slightly taken aback.
"They're hardly complicated. Mere data." Ratchet puffs irritably.
"Ratch, c'mon. Ease up, would you?" The one called Bulkhead (a rather, uh, rotund robot with green paint that makes him look almost like an Army soldier) chuckles. "I gotta admit, she's got spunk. I figured she'd freak out." He starts walking around, taking in the scenery. "If we're done with introductions, I figure we should start recon."
"A wise idea, Bulkhead." Optimus notes.
Almost before I know what I'm saying, I'm jogging up to Bulkhead. "Hey, uh, I can help you with that, if you want."
"How could-we hardly need a guide!" Ratchet splutters, but Optimus and Mayfly come to my defense.
"Oh, c'mon! Cut the human some slack!"
"We are strangers on this planet, and have yet to acclimate. I believe it is in our best interest to take Robyn at her word."
I smile, feeling oddly steady the longer I talk to these robots. "Great! So, um, this state is Nevada, on the North American continent in the country of the United States of America. We're outside a town called Jasper, near a military base, in fact." I start rambling.
"Military?" Bulkhead asks. "They won't cause any fuss, will they?"
"Frankly, I dunno. The base is more of an archive, really." I shrug. "As a matter of fact, I work there."
Ratchet starts to speak, but at a stern glance from Optimus says nothing as Optimus addresses me. "Perhaps, then, you can help us assure this military that we mean no harm."
"Maybe! My uncle is a Special Agent who could probably help, too, but, uh, he might not take to the idea of aliens super well." I shrug. "He's a bit old-fashioned."
I lead the way toward my car (unsure what I am going to do when I get there) when Mayfly catches my eye. Her iridescent green paint is beautiful!
"Mayfly, right?" I ask.
"Yep."
"I like your, uh, paint job." Is that weird to say?
"Um…thanks." Yeah, that was the wrong thing to say.
"Sorry. It's just that I like that color is all."
She smiles. "It's alright. I like it, too."
Finally, we reach my car and I pull out my phone. "I should maybe call-"
The sound of a helicopter reaches my ears.
"What is that? 'Cons?!" Mayfly snaps, and her hands change into some kind of gun! In fact, all their hands form guns!
"Wait, hold on!" I cry. "Don't shoot! I think I who it-" As if on cue, my phone rings. I instantly pick up. "Hello, Robyn-"
"Are you out of your Star Spangled mind?!" Yup. Uncle Will saw the Meteor and is probably inbound. Maybe on the chopper…or in the trucks I can see coming in. Either way, it's clear he sees the robots and me.
"Uncle Will, please! I need you to listen! They're not dangerous!"
"I'll believe it when I see it!"
"Trust me! They could've easily killed me, but they didn't! Trust me, please! I can explain!"
The few military trucks pull up, and Uncle Will gets out, hanging up his phone.
"There had better be a darn good explanation, young lady!" He snaps, coming right up to me.
Optimus motions for calm as the Autobots tense.
I lick my lips. "There is, I promise. I was going home when I saw what I thought was a meteor, so I went to investigate, wanting to be able to report all the facts before we jumped the gun. I found these guys. They're friendly, Uncle Will."
"What she says is true." Optimus speaks up preemptively, causing Uncle Will to flinch as he slowly crouches closer to Uncle Will's level.
"It can talk?" He whispers.
"Yup. In English, thanks to the Internet, apparently."
"My name is Optimus Prime, and we are autonomous robotic organisms from the planet Cybertron, or Autobots for short. We mean this planet and it's people no harm. Our ship was damaged and we crashed here. We have no hostile intent."
"...Robyn, I don't think the Pentagon is gonna like this." Uncle Will sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"I know, but we're gonna have to tell at least someone so the military know not to attack them. We can say they're prototype weapons or whatever, just let them stay. I mean, it's not every day we get visitors from space."
"No…no it is not." Uncle Will sighs, orders the troops to back off, and turns to the gathered robots-er, Autobots.
"Uh…welcome to Earth, I guess."

trigger warnings: mention of death
THE BASICS:
full name: robyn emily wright
nicknames: rob
birthday: 22nd september 1982 (40 years old)
gender: cis woman (she/her)
sexuality: heterosexual
relationship status: dating jaxon wells ( @dicmondskies)
BASIC INTRO:
robyn is originally from london, she’s lived her for most of her life, only moving cities to go to univeristy but she ended up back in the city.
she’s the oldest of four siblings, that’s pretty obvious, back in the day her parents had to work a lot, so she was the one looking after her siblings.
growing up, she’s always been the mum friend, listening to people, giving them advice etc.
everyone always said that she gave good advice, which is one of the reasons why she became a therpaist later on in life.
fast forward to her being an adult, she works as a therpaist, she mostly works with women / female presenting people.
she has her own beautiful flat in notting hill, with her own dog, a whippet called milo.
from the outside it looked like she had the perfect life but truthfully, he didn’t. something was missing, robyn never took her own advice when dating + always ended up dating assholes.
yes, she was lonely, she ended up reconnecting with her high-school sweetheart jaxon wells, after the death of his wife.
it started off as a fairly friendly thing, they’d go out together, she’d be a listening ear, she’d support him with things.
then the pair got comfortable with each other, it was like old times and one thing lead to another, they started dating again.
this was a couple of months a go now, things have been going great for the pair of them but jaxon is still yet to introduce robyn to his kids.
robyn is upset by this, as she thought the two of them were serious again, why can’t she meet his kids.
she knows it’s going to be a difficult thing but she’s happy to be there and support him through it. she’s not going anywhere.
WANTED CONNECTIONS:

concept: opposites attract with eddie. not necessarily the typical preppy/jock angle for eddie, but anything that would juxtapose a metalhead - especially if the reader is introverted
Yes! Oh my god thank you! The reader is a very soft introverted hippie who meets Eddie through Dustin
I really hope this was okay it was my first time writing for Eddie and i hope it met your expectations
----------
Fall in Hawkins was colder than most towns in Indiana but that never stopped you from wearing what you wanted, despite your best friend Robyn's constant pleas to stop wearing your favorite mushroom crop top and patched jeans that clung to your thighs as you walked the halls of Hawkins high school late one night.
Your theater director had asked you to grab some extra script's from the auditorium after school and to your surprise there were voices coming from inside the auditorium.
When you entered the room you were trying to be as quiet as you could be but to know avail the door slammed loudly behind you drawing the rooms attention to yourself. In that moment realization struck you, this was were Hellfire had moved there meetings too. Dustin refused to tell you due to the fact that you were in theater club and was given strict orders bye Eddie not too.
There he was the man in question, Eddie Munson. Leader of Hellfire, loud, opinionated raging metal head Eddie. Your total opposite and it terrified you, Why? You may ask, well to be plain and simple you were in love with him.
There was a loud clap that brought me back from my thoughts as Eddie stood from his spot with his Hellfire group "Y/n, Sweetheart too what do i owe this-, surprising pleasure" Eddie grinned standing in front of you. "I was just here to pick up the uh, Matilda script's" I spoke gently looking down as my hands twisted the ends of my belt.
There was the sound of paper rippling as Eddie held a packet of blue theater scripts in his hand, "Thanks" i whispered under my breathe before the boy cut me off "Uh, uh, uh Sweetheart" he teased "Let me walk you home, were done here anyways" He told me handing the script's too me, "We are" Dustin's voice asked from the table behind them "Yes we are young Padawan" he spoke through gritted teeth facing the boy. A sigh passed through your parted lips with a soft smile "yeah i guess so".
When Eddie finally finished cleaning up from their campaign he met you outside and followed you as you slowly walked the path to your parents house."So y/n, your in a musical?" He asked you? A small laugh left your lips as you shook your head "God no, i write the music" you told him. The boy hummed in response "What kind of music are you into" he questioned as the two of you turned a coroner on your street.
You shook your head lightly knowing what Eddie Munson would say about your music taste "Not happening Eddie" you told him and he looked offended "Why the hell not?". You eyes looked up to him for a moment and smiled "everyone knows you don't share your music taste with a metal head" you told him with your arms folded across your torso as the cold Hawkins breeze swept over you. Eddie took note of this quickly looking down at you "Your cold". It sounded less like a question and more like a statement, and even as you tried to protest he slipped his dio jean jacket off his back and pulled it around your shoulders carefully his cold rings grazing the skin of your neck slightly when he pulled away.
The two of you stopped infront of your house and you shuffled nervously kicking you feet as he walked you too your front door and he smiled down at you tucking a piece of your red hair behind your ear "all better" He spoke quietly "I guess this is me" you told him in reference to you house "i guess it is".
You turned away from Eddie pushing your front door open and poking your head out once you were in the door way "Do you wanna go see a movie with me at the drive in on Saturday" he blurted out as heat rose to your pale moonlight face " i'd love too" your voice spoke excitedly yet softly "I'll see you then" he told you nodding his head. A soft smile played onto you face as you shut your front door and hugged the jacket to your frame.
Behind the front door Eddie Munson took the next two minutes to pump his fist into the air, smile and make his way home thinking about the red head the entire way there, Eddie usually hated everyone in Hawkins who wasn't like him in at least someway but maybe in rare cases, Opposites do attract.

Chapter Four
“Dang it!” I bellow eight days later, as my body gives way and topples over, having used too great of force to yank a now dead primrose from the ground.
Yesterday morning I had come outside to discover the yellow evening primroses, the flowers Peeta had planted upon his arrival back in Twelve, had all but died.
And I didn’t even notice. I’ve been so distracted with everything else going on in my life—namely Peeta and his blonde companion—that I entirely forgot about the flowers. The flowers that my sister was named for. The flowers meant to represent her when she was no longer alive to represent herself.
The idea that I could forget the plant, that I let myself lag on the simple duty of keeping them alive and watered and healthy, felt as if I had let my little sister down all over again. It felt as if I’d failed Prim a second time.
And it’s more than I can handle. I can’t even endure the thought. The very implication that I am, in any way, dishonoring my sister’s memory is entirely unbearable. Even if it is just me implying it, inside my head.
But in any case, it looks like the primroses are too far gone and I don’t have even a chance at resurrecting them back to life. I took too long to notice their wilting, I was too caught up in other things, that I let the plants die and now there’s no going back.
For a split second I consider returning one of my mother’s many calls to ask for gardening advice. She has always had a green thumb and been able to grow whatever she set her mind to. I never had any of those skills. I was a hunter by nature, not a nurturer.
No, that was Prim. The soft and gentle one, who loved animals, who could heal any wound she could identify, who could garden and grow herbs just as well as our mother.
And I miss her so much. I miss my little sister so very much that I almost breakdown into tears right then and there, right in front of the dead primrose bush outside my house.
“Katniss?” I hear someone call in the distance. I recognize the voice instantly.
And rapidly get up and make a beeline towards my front door.
Unfortunately he’s determined to catch me. After eight solid days of evasion, Peeta is dead set on catching me at any given opportunity before him.
It’s almost funny how once upon a time it was him who wished to avoid me. It was him who craved distance between us, who acted icy and detached at every encounter, whether forced or by chance.
Now it’s him trying to force an encounter between us, trying desperately to make up for hurting me, trying to still be a part of my life, even after I pronounced our relationship finished.
The bread he left on my doorstep—that I immediately tossed in the garbage—is proof of that. The cheesebuns he left on my counter who met their demise to a flock of birds on my back porch is proof of that. The cookies he baked and passed through Greasy Sae when I went to trade at the new, rebuilt Hob is glaring proof of his efforts.
I did actually eat those but I made sure to do it in private, where Peeta would never know if his token was accepted or not.
Because I don’t want him to think we’re okay. I don’t want Peeta to believe me and him can still be friends, with Bailey Robyn, the uptight, controlling blonde still lingering over his every move.
Okay, maybe I’m being a bit overdramatic. Bailey isn’t residing over Peeta’s every action. She probably doesn’t even know he’s made all these treats for me. And she surely wasn’t sitting by his side in the corner of Greasy Sae’s booth when our eyes briefly met before I stubbornly stormed out.
But I feel like she is. I feel her presence overcast in every one of Peeta’s actions, in every deed he partakes in, in every moment I run into him. Maybe it’s only inside my head but it’s enough reason for me to avoid Peeta. It’s enough reason that I wish to stand by my words eight days ago and cut him directly out of my life. With a chainsaw if necessary, I wish to cut the invisible cord that has tied me and him together for so long now.
“Katniss!” Peeta calls again, his arms grasping my waist just in time to prevent my escape into the house.
“Go away,” I mutter under my breath, ire and ache still seeping off me even after a week separating this moment here with our last interaction.
“Why are you upset?” He asks, a little breathless now from the race to my front door. But even tired, concern still manages to leak into his tone. His blue eyes still show anxiety for my well-being.
And it’s still not enough to thaw me.
“You know why,” I say rigidly, pulling my front door open and shoving his hands away from me.
“No, no, I mean,” he quickly tries to correct his question. “I meant, what’s happened out here that has you upset?”
I audibly huff, my eyes about as warm as a popsicle in a snowstorm. The last thing I want to do is stand here and recount just about anything to Peeta, especially in regards to the way I’m currently feeling.
Especially after the last time we spoke about our feelings, when I chose to let him in and allowed him to see the vulnerable parts of me that I never trust anyone with.
Only for him to turn around and side with Bailey over me.
But knowing how persistent Peeta can be when properly determined—his intensity to train like a Career, Brutus’ murder and him warning District Thirteen about Snow’s incoming attack all fly to the top of that list—I merely gesture widely to my backyard, where the dead flowers lie.
It only takes Peeta a moment to click it all together, to his credit. Though I’m hesitant to even offer him that right now.
“I’ll replant them,” he instantly offers, like a dog begging to fetch his owner a carcass bone.
“Don’t bother,” I say, about as rude and uninviting as humanly possible. “It’s not your responsibility.”
I’m just stepping into the house when Peeta’s hand shoves on the door, hard enough to keep it open. For a split second, I contemplate putting all my strength behind it and slamming his fingers in the door. But even as mad as I am—even as wounded as I am—I won’t physically harm Peeta.
After all, he already lost his leg once about I tied it in a tourniquet. I may have saved his life but I also cost him half a limb and that thought alone stops me from nearly taking his fingers off too.
“Katniss, I want to,” he pleads and his eyes are so big and blue and I feel my heart involuntarily melt a bit upon at the sight. “I want to replant them.”
I release an unconscious breath, for the first time in over a week not completely hostile towards the boy with the bread, who in my eyes, completely turned his back on me. Or so it feels. “I’ll just end up killing them again, Peeta. I’m serious. Don’t even bother.”
“Then I’ll tend to them,” Peeta throws out, getting more and more desperate the more I refuse, it seems.
I’m about to brush off his offer once again when another voice joins us. “Oh, let him do it, sweetheart. The boy needs a hobby besides baking,” Haymitch chimes in, standing at the bottom of my porch, looking drunk as ever.
“You love that baking is his only hobby,” I shoot back at the paunchy, old man.
“Well, not anymore. Since you two started fighting he’s been making me fat. I need a break.”
I’m about to come back with another comment, probably one to suggest Haymitch doesn’t have to eat everything Peeta brings, when we’re joined by a third presence.
Of course, she has to join us. Bailey can’t seem to let Peeta go anywhere without her nowadays.
“What’s going on?” She murmurs, looking around at all our tense body language. Well, at mine and Peeta’s tense body language. Haymitch is currently sitting on the bottom step of my porch now, as relaxed as Buttercup is in the window.
Peeta opens his mouth to respond but then shuts it again, glancing back at me. I don’t know if it’s the fact that he doesn’t wish to discuss his offer to help me with his girlfriend or if it’s the fact that he clearly knows I dislike the notion of Bailey in my business, but either way I’m a little pleased when he closes his mouth and adverts eye contact away from the blonde.
Instead it’s my drunken mentor who elaborates. “The girl’s flowers died. Your boyfriend just wants to replant them.”
To my utter astonishment, Bailey seems amendable to the idea. “The flowers for your sister?” She inquires, looking right at me. I shoot her a quizzical—and perhaps slightly unfriendly—look out of the corner of my eye but she continues on anyway. “Peeta, you should help her plant them again. Especially since you let them die-“
But I’ve heard enough from her—and everyone else here, for that matter—and I turn to Peeta, my hand still holding the doorknob tightly, ready to slam it shut. “Fine,” I cave, my tone anything but grateful. “Go ahead and replant the primroses. If that’s going to help you, then go for it.”
I don’t wait to hear a response from any of the parties now camped out on my property. Instead I shove Peeta’s fingers off my door—first time I’ve touched him in eight days—and throw it shut with such a force I feel the walls in my entryway shake.
“She’s always been a spitfire,” I hear Haymitch mumble as three sets of footsteps make their way further from my porch.
I barely catch Peeta’s response. If I hadn’t been standing by the door, unintentionally listening to hear what they may be saying, I would have missed it altogether.
“That’s the best thing about her.”
/
It’s just mere hours later before I’m disturbed once again. This time not by a crew of three but by one solo intruder.
“Sweetheart?” Haymitch barks, evidently not too keen on the fact that I decided to turn every light in my house off after returning home from the Hob.
“Go away,” I mumble out, knowing well and clear that he can’t hear me from upstairs. I’m in my bedroom, lying in the safety of my own bed, in my own private sanctuary, where I do not wish to be disturbed by anyone at any cost.
Of course, it only takes a few minutes of bumping into things and cursing for Haymitch to track me down. “Girl, it’s six at night?” He says incredulously.
“So?” I snap, as he turns my light on, effectively blinding me.
“Did you just forget about dinner tonight?” He asks, his voice neither kind nor hostile. In all honesty, he just sounds puzzled.
“Why are you in my room, Haymitch?” I murmur, rubbing my eyes until they adjust to the beaming brightness and pulling myself upwards now. Off his dismissive glance, I let out a deep sigh. “I wasn’t hungry.”
Of course, we’re not really talking about me skipping a meal. I highly doubt Haymitch truly cares if I miss dinner by my own accord. He surely wasn’t too interested in my meal intake when he brought me home from the Capitol and dropped me off on my doorstep.
No, we’re referring to the weekly dinners me, Peeta and Haymitch have at the old man’s pig sty. The same dinners I’ve brought Delly along to, that Haymitch is constantly passing out drunk during, that Bailey has been crashing nonstop since arriving here in Twelve.
When I came home from trading at the Hob tonight, I decided I was done with those dinners. I don’t need to subject myself to bossy Bailey any longer, and my resolve to keep Peeta out of my life as much as humanly possible is still strong. Despite the fact that I agreed to let him plant the primroses in my garden again and tend to their growth, I still don’t wish for us to be friends. I still don’t want to subject myself any further to him and Bailey’s exhibits.
And I figured no one would mind my absence anyways. At least not for a few dinners. I knew eventually Haymitch would try to push me to come back and Peeta would probably ask me very sweetly to join again, but I didn’t think the first night I skipped would be a huge production.
And okay, maybe there is a small part of me who deep down hopes if I refuse to come, Bailey may be disinvited in order to make me feel welcome again. It’s a long shot and not one I’d consciously admit to counting on, but I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t a small, minuscule part of me wishing for that to happen just the same.
Haymitch glances at me suspiciously now. “You’re always hungry, kid.”
“I am not.”
“Yes, you are. You’re the most enthusiastic eater I know.”
Okay, he is blatantly confused apparently. His drunken goggles are blurring his perspective of reality, it would seem.
In any case, I flop backwards on my bed and roll away, hoping if I ignore my mentor long enough he’ll just evaporate into thin air.
But for some reason, Haymitch is weirdly dogged tonight. “Come on,” he urges, shaking my shoulder a bit too roughly. “I know the boy always says you’re just like me, but this little display is over the top, Katniss.”
I roll my eyes. “Why do you even want me at those dinners, Haymitch? You have Peeta and Bailey there.” I can’t stop myself from throwing the extra emphasis on Bailey, as immature as it may be.
However, the old man isn’t interested in dignifying me with a response. “And Delly. And Johanna. And Annie Cresta.”
That catches me completely off-guard. “What?”
In the time since the war ended and I returned to Twelve—or rather, was exiled to Twelve—no one from the other districts have visited. I have barely seen anyone I know in the last few months, outside Haymitch, Peeta and Delly.
“Some of which are anxious to see you at dinner,” he adds, gesturing for me to get up.
I shoot him a mordant glance. “Johanna’s anxious to see me?”
“I said some. Meaning Delly and Annie,” he clarifies. Off my still hesitant expression, he reaches down and tugs on my wrist, trying to get me out of bed.
“Fine!” I exclaim, feeling strangely embarrassed now as I realize that our roles are suddenly being reversed. I’m the one who always forced him out of bed, who made him come to meals, who fought with him to hurry up and get moving.
In the end, I don’t bother cleaning myself up or trying to appear presentable. Johanna and Annie won’t care and Peeta doesn’t get to care anymore.
And it wouldn’t matter anyway. Even if Effie Trinket or my entire prep team were here, I’d never stand a chance of looking anything but plain next to Bailey.
It’s not that I care that she’s so blatantly pretty. It’s just that her looks are one more thing about her presence to be bothered by, and that list is getting long and extensive. Even after her apparent approval of Peeta gardening my primroses, even after no negative interactions in eight days, I still sense hostility with her. And I still can’t stare at her without feeling my stomach churn.
Because every time she’s around, I know I’m about to be the odd one out. For whatever reason, outside of Delly, the people I care for, hold a deep affinity for Bailey Robyn.
And it bothers me above anything I can express. It bothers me beyond words, beyond measure, beyond any sense of feeling.
“Look who I found,” Haymitch announces as we enter through the threshold of his filthy residence.
“Katniss!” Annie exclaims and tosses her arms around my neck, despite the fact that we’ve never been too close. I can’t even remember the last time we had a conversation in person. The only true communication between me and Annie is the letters she sends, the ones filled with details of her life in Four and Finnick’s son. The ones I rarely respond to, but always read just the same.
Still, despite the fact that Annie might as well be a glorified stranger to me, I return the embrace, instinctively at first and then, simply because I want to. Because no one besides Peeta has given me any sort of affection in months and I miss it. Now that Peeta has put conditions on our relationship, I am hungry for any physical touch at all.
It shocks me to realize, in that moment, just how completely starved I am, for closeness.
I hug Annie for far longer than I think anyone watching anticipated but she doesn’t seem to mind. In fact, she seems to welcome it too.
Then again, her husband died and left her with seemingly no family at all to help raise their baby. So perhaps she’s just as desperate for a human touch—I suppose besides her son—as I am.
I don’t receive the same welcome from Johanna, unsurprisingly, but as soon as me and Annie break apart, she shoots me a satirical glance and pulls on a piece of my hair.
“Ow!” I exclaim, my thick brows furrowing in confusion. “What was that for?”
“It was sticking up,” she explains with a shrug and then smirks. “Did you just roll out of bed and come here?”
“Did you?” Her outfit is just denim pants and a low cut t-shirt. Not that different from my attire.
“Yes. And I’m not ashamed of it.” She runs a hand over her hair which has grown out to about length with her shoulders. “But I know how to use a hairbrush, at least.”
I roll my eyes as she nudges me. “This is dinner,” Haymitch deadpans as he makes his way to the table. “Not a Capitol Beauty Contest.”
Jo examines the unwashed table as we follow the grumpy man’s lead. As of right now, the table is completely void of substance. “Doesn’t dinner imply food?” She asks and Annie laughs lightly, suggesting she was thinking along the same lines.
“Haymitch doesn’t believe in cooking himself,” I retort, earning a look from the old man. “He’s waiting for Peeta to arrive with food.”
“You’re more than welcome to provide the meal, sweetheart.”
“And what are you providing?”
“The residence the meal is served at.”
“And what a residence it is!” Exclaims a completely different voice, a higher pitched soprano.
And like clockwork, three blonde heads round the corner of the dining room, abruptly joining the party.
Delly looks as enthusiastic to be walking with Peeta and Bailey as I am to be in their company right now. Which she further evidences by hurrying to the seat at my right.
“Don’t think I’ve ever seen you without a grin,” Haymitch remarks as he pulls out a bottle of white liquor and pours it into a half-clean glass.
“Wonder why that is,” I murmur out loud before thinking better of it. After all, Haymitch seems to care for Bailey more than me nowadays. I should probably not stir the pot before the food is even presented before me.
But he doesn’t reply back. Even if he did, I doubt I’d notice anyway.
Because, in the flash of a second, the attention of the room is completely shifted.
I knew Bailey was coming with Peeta. She’s practically glued to his hip at all times of day, almost as if she’s afraid to let him out of her sight. But it would seem that Haymitch did not inform Johanna or Annie about Peeta’s new relationship, effectively catching them both by surprise at the additional dinner guest.
And there’s little room for doubt to anyone with eyes that they’re together. Their hands are practically singed as one, in an airtight grasp, her manicured nails intertwined with his long fingers.
For a split second I wonder if that’s what my hand looked like inside Peeta’s last week. I wonder if this is what Bailey saw before her, when she caught us roaming through town at the crack of dawn.
“Barley?” Johanna says in a shocked voice.
It takes a moment for her comment to compute in my brain. “Bailey,” I correct, trying to be helpful. Though I’m unsure where she even managed to get the name Barley at all. Especially if Haymitch didn’t warn her about the girl Peeta was bringing and I strongly suspect he didn’t.
Jo looks at me like I’m insane for the amendment before turning back to Bailey and Peeta. “You’re dating Bailey Barley?” She say incredulously.
Bailey Barley? Is that a nickname? Now I’m the one who’s completely lost at sea, feeling like there was a good chunk of time I somehow missed.
Bailey’s blue eyes stare into Jo’s now, not exactly friendly but not as belligerent as I’ve seen her before. As I saw her last week.
I don’t know nor do I understand what they’re silently communicating, but I do comprehend one thing without a doubt.
Johanna knows Bailey. Somehow, someway, Johanna knows Bailey even more than I do.
Peeta doesn’t seem too confused though. He doesn’t even seem fazed by the exchange at all. Instead he drops Bailey’s hand—not soon enough, in my opinion—and moves to set some kind of meat and potato meal down on the table.
“Where did you get the meat?” I ask abruptly, recognizing it as deer. I just shot my first in a long time only the other day. How on Earth did Peeta get deer meat around the same time I did.
“I traded a cake for it. At the Hob,” he explains nonchalantly, avoiding my bewildered eyes now.
I just stare at him for a second, debating on even further commenting.
The Hob is where I traded the deer after killing it. Peeta literally baked a cake and traded it for meat, just because I wouldn’t speak to him.
He literally traded a cake so I could eat the meat that I hunted myself.
Something about that scenario vindicates me slightly. And I have to wonder if I’ve become sadistic with time and solitude.
My attention though is pulled back to Johanna and Bailey now. “What’re you doing in Twelve?”
Bailey takes her seat, between Haymitch and Peeta, with grace. “Peeta and I met in the Capitol,” she states simply. “I decided to come here and spend some more time with him. Get to know him a little better.”
As if to punctuate her words, she places one dainty hand on top of Peeta’s and gives it a squeeze.
I can’t even fight my eye roll.
“I see,” Jo murmurs, casting a sideway glance at me, none too subtle. “Well, it looks like you did... that.”
Delly snickers into her water glass and I don’t miss the way Bailey shoots her an irritated glance. Peeta seemingly does though. Haymitch is already too tipsy to care if an actual fight breaks out among us, his white liquor kicking in quick.
Annie on the other hand, who I’ve always believed to often be oblivious to all those around her, decidedly cuts the tension here. “Well, I’m hungry. Peeta, pass me a plate.”
And just like that, we’re having one of the most awkward meals I’ve ever had to endure.

Note
Alright, we got two of the Ace-Ops down so far. Since there isn’t too much too them (and they’re always kinda treated as a duo) let’s prompt for Elm and Vine.
Elm and Vine for the RWBY character asks, another challenge! Let’s do Elm first.
My top three ships for the character
Elm/Harriet is pretty good. I feel like they could be cute and they could balance each other out. Elm/Neo is literally just for the aesthetic and the breaking of stereotypes lol. Like Neo is the short cutie in pink with the long hair, but she’ll drop swears into her sign language and knock around anyone who tests her with a smile, and Elm is big and muscled in a uniform with her short hair, but she’s a softie and a sweetheart who’ll always be friendly. Also poly Elm/Harriet/Clover is surprisingly something I think I could get behind.
My three least favorite ships for the character
Elm/Marrow, Elm/Cinder, and Elm/Robyn. I don’t... Want any of that.
My biggest criticism for the character
Like all the Ace Ops, the back and forth on her morality and whether or not she’s friends with the others was so weird. She was a sweetie with a cheerful disposition who teased and seemed to like her coworkers, but tried to be professional... And then she was crazy, aggressive, down with murder, ready to attack Ren for talking about their emotions... And then she’s just, fine? I don’t - I don’t get it. The insistence on making Ironwood into a villain really threw all the Ace Ops into a weird place and Elm is no different. I’m honestly not sure how I was even meant to read her character.
My favorite thing about the character
We don’t see a lot of happier, cheerful adult characters and I like that we seemed to get some of that from Elm. I think she could’ve been a breath of fresh air as someone who could be professional and serious when the need demands, but could be a more optimistic, openly caring and brighter person to balance a lot of the adults who drift between serious and pessimistic, angry and hot tempered, cocky and arrogant, or all three at once. If only they’d kept her that way instead of making her mostly serious and angry...
A headcanon I have about them
The Ace Ops go out drinking at least once a month together on Elm’s insistence. She doesn’t push them to be friends, but she does push them to open up to each other because she thinks trust makes a good team. She didn’t get along with or feel like she could trust her teammates back in Atlas Academy, and was only happier to be able to try again with a new team.
What I would change about them if I was making a re-write
Keeping Ironwood not evil, I’d keep Elm’s more optimistic seeming personality and her more caring nature, and make her one of the first ones to really try and bridge the gap between Ironwood’s group and Ruby’s group. I’d also have her connect more easily with Yang and Jaune, while Nora and Weiss find her harder to get along with (I just decided I want dynamics like these with all the Ace Ops, that there are one or two kids that each Ace Op connects with more easily and one or two that they don’t get along with as well.)
What I I think of their character allusion and what (if anything) I would change about it
The both of them are based off of ‘The Elm and the Vine,’ which according to Wikipedia, is only suspected of maybe being authored by Aesop. This is weird in my opinion, like... If they were going to base them all off of Aesop’s Fables, why couldn’t they each have their own Fable and why couldn’t they both definitely be... An Aesop’s Fable? So, I’d give them different Fable allusions altogether. For Elm, I might go with the Oak and the Reed as an allusion instead and I’d change her name to Reed. The moral of that story is that sometimes trusting your strength won’t get you through a storm, and bending to the wind might be better. This could be applied to the actual narrative of RWBY, but it also could apply even to my re-write where Ironwood would not be evil, because the whole point of it would be that Ironwood and RWBY and the Ace Ops all need to bend a little in order to survive the storm that is the Salem attack. Elm (or, Reed) could be the one most determined to support Ironwood and trust in him at the start, but also be the first one who really starts trying to work with Team RWBY again, proving that she is not too immoveable to bend a little and that you can be strong like an oak while being flexible like a reed at the same time.
Now, let’s go with Vine for the character asks.
My top three ships for the character
Vine/Marrow, idk, I just don’t mind this one. Vine/Joanna, idk, they could just look good together and also I kind of like the idea of one of the Ace Ops being in a secret relationship with one of the Happy Huntresses. Vine/Elm. It didn’t make my list of Elm ships, but it’s the only other one I could think of for Vine lol. They’d be cute though.
My three least favorite ships for the character
Vine/Harriet, don’t ask me why, this one just kind of annoys me. Vine/Qrow, somehow I feel like Qrow is not his type lol. And Vine/Robyn.
My biggest criticism for the character
See the exact same problem I have with Elm. I honestly don’t know how I was even supposed to see his character and then he just... Died. Am I supposed to just forgive him for the fact that he didn’t even defect when Ironwood wanted to bomb Mistral and was going to kill Marrow? Was I supposed to forget that he had been a caring and dedicated defender in volume seven, since he turned evil in volume eight and didn’t have Ren read that he was going to switch like he did for Marrow and Winter? Was I supposed to feel bad about him dying, when we didn’t get enough time to even really know more than the most basic of characterization? Vine was pretty much a plot device who then was killed for numbers and I think it shows.
My favorite thing about the character
Ehhh, his potential dynamics with the other Ace Ops, maybe?
A headcanon I have about them
He was the most hesitant to get to know any of the others or work with them very well, because unlike most of them, he actually really got along with his original Team in Atlas and felt kind of bad about having split off from them for the sake of his career. He felt like getting close to the other Ace Ops might be ‘replacing’ his old friends, and knew he’d take the opportunity to advance above them too if the situation came up, and didn’t want to disappoint them. Clover was the one who got him out of his shell and he then started getting attached to him and the others.
What I would change about them if I was making a re-write
Okay, the whole ‘sage, wise’ thing... Hmm. No thanks. I’d still make him kind of quiet and the least rambunctious Ace Op, but I’d try to get kind of a... Grumpy, but fun, kinda snarky, but obviously caring thing. And also, good Ironwood, the Ace Ops aren’t villains. I also really like the idea of Vine starting to get attached to the kids right away, but also being stricter and harder to impress than the other Ace Ops, leaving the kids with the mistaken opinion that he doesn’t like them. For the kids he’d connect to more, I think Blake would respect him from the start and he’d be a bit closer to Penny than most of the other Ace Ops, but Ruby and Yang wouldn’t like him very much. Also I think I’d try to change his semblance. It's just a bit, um...

What I I think of their character allusion and what (if anything) I would change about it
Like I said for Elm, it’s weird imo that she and him shared an allusion and that it is only rumored to be an Aesop Fable. I’m interested in ‘the Goat and the Vine,’ for obvious reasons. Its story is a bit weird. A goat starts eating the leaves and shoots of a vine, that tells them it will still be able to produce grapes, which will make the wine that’ll be poured over the goat when it gets sacrificed. I feel like it doesn’t quite work in the case of Vine being the one sacrificed... Oof. But you could spin it, like Vine’s death doesn’t stop the fact that Cinder and Salem are going to go down soon enough anyway. And in an alternate universe, if he was one of the people holding back Cinder or other villains as people escape to Vacuo, and then was severely wounded, but in the knowledge that any pain he went through wouldn’t matter since Cinder was still going to get destroyed later and her plans had mostly failed... Idk, um. Yeah, that’s the best I got. XD

Dirty Water
Benny 'Borracho' Magalon x Robyn Banks (Black!OC)
Summary: Robb met a couple of shady characters calling themselves cops. Well it just so happens they are, and they're worse than she first thought.
Masterlist
Word count: 2.5k words
Rating/Warning(s): +16 Mature | kidnapping, mild torture, tied up, wanna be clear: IRL I do not condone hooking up with a person who kidnapped you or was complicit in kidnapping you, it just don't work out like that in reality
AN: so basically I'm gonna write and post this in whatever order I please, then go back and figure it out later. Since my brain has jumped back on the Pascal bandwagon, it's hard to focus outside of his body of work but I'm still coming back to this story with relative ease.
Tumblr media
Just when she'd started to warm up again, a another shower of ice cold mop water was pitched over her head. Robyn sputtered and coughed, trying not to swallow the suds in her mouth or let them see her cry to keep the dirt out of her eyes. From the shadows that danced beyond her eyelids, she could tell the alleged cop who called himself Nick was crouching in front of her.
"Last chance, sweetheart," the dirty cop said. "Tell me how you know Tony D'Onofrio."
Fuck.
Seven years ago, two federal agents walked in on officer Robyn Banks being sentenced to traffic duty. She didn't mind– she was fed up with the secrets her colleagues were forcing her to keep anyways. Maybe stepping down could help her clear her head, maybe give her time to compartmentalize those events and feelings. Only now could she say that the rest of her career was already out of her hands.
"Those agents on that file? They approached me about D'Onofrio. Said he was my moby dick. Made a big deal about 'justice' and 'law and order' and 'the sanctity of the badge." Robyn spit more mop water onto the floor and continued, "I told them I didn't know what the fuck it had to do with me and they just sorta looked at each other."
The blond man– Nick called him Z, she thinks– crossed his arms. "Quit jerkin us around, Banks, get to the fucking point."
Nick held up a hand. "Easy, tiger. I asked for a story and that's what I'm hearing. Keep going, Robbie."
Robyn scowled on the inside. "They told me he was my father. More like a sperm donor than anything, he probably didn't even know I was alive."
"Now that is interesting," Nick purred.
He cut the zip tie binding her arm to the rolly chair and handed her a towelette to wipe her eyes. She dared not reach for the tie on her other arm, lest her captors think she's pulling a move to escape. Instead she dabbed the sweat and mop water that soaked into the skin of her neck and face to pause and think about her next words.
"That was the basis of the deal. I join their investigation undercover, see if I can get somewhere with my connection, and help them put one of the biggest crime bosses on this side of the coast away for good. In exchange, I get to call the shots, they'd put in a good word with my CO and elevate me to detective status instead of beat cop."
"Thought you liked being a beat cop," the one in the silk flamingo shirt said.
"Apparently nobody believes that."
"So," Nick steepled his fingers beneath his aquiline nose in thought, "your end of the deal wasn't even your idea? How does that work?"
"Sounds like she got something else out of it," the bald man in the white polo accused.
Robyn glared at him, but she didn't contradict him. If she wanted to be listened to, she needed to stay calm. Stay calm, stay alive. Go home with the minimal amount of PTSD.
"Do you want me to tell you what happened or not?" When nobody raised any more objections, she continued. "I agreed to their terms. Next I know, I'm climbing the criminal ladder, dropping bread crumbs about my parentage, two years goes by, yada yada yada, and then bam. I have a meeting with the heir apparent to the Italian mafia.
"At that meeting I told Tony D'Onofrio he knew my mother and that I knew they had been dating around the time I was born–"
"Conceived–"
"Yeah that– he stared at me for so long I forgot how to breathe and then… he… believed me."
A pin dropped somewhere in the empty parking garage. A dog barked wildly a mile away but could still be heard in the silence that followed. Robyn still couldn't believe he'd bought it either.
"He just… believed you," Nick said skeptically.
Robyn could do nothing but shrug. "I never got the details, I couldn't ask my mom about it and Tony never gave me any indication that he knew about me before that meeting. He just asked me what I wanted and did it."
Nick dragged his eyes over her form, shivering and glistening, and then-- "what did you ask him?"
Robyn felt her eyes gloss over as she tried to remember what mysterious force compelled her to say the exact right words. "I told him all I wanted was for him to know, to see him with my own eyes and know he was real. I said I didn't need any favors or special treatment. I just needed some closure."
That was all. And the agents had been fucking furious with her. They had accused her of using them, of being a traitor and a spy for D'Onofrio or a mastermind cat-woman type villain and all manner of other terrible things. They were ready to pull the plug on the whole operation when Tony had offered her a better job. A job where she would come face- to- face with every schmoe on Tony's payroll.
"Tony offered me a job 'running errands.' Not quite in his inner circle but higher in his ranks than I had any business being," Robyn said. "Most of the people doing these jobs were kids, easy to get around the city undetected and reliable. Now he knew I wasn't a kid but I guess he wanted to see more from me, put his best eyes on me to see if I was legit."
Nick nodded and stood up (his knees popping like broken branches). He walked over to Murphy in the flamingo shirt and passed a few inaudible words between them. Robyn wasn't skilled in the art of lip reading, and failed to catch anything from Murphy except the word 'pointless.' It rubbed her the wrong way, sending a spark of fear through her that quickly dulled back into the numbness of being helplessly bound to a chair. She needed to finish this soon before she completely cracked.
Nick returned to her side, chasing some pepto bismol with a flask of what smelled like tequila in it. "That's a very sweet story, Robbie, really it is. But what I wanna know is why you're not in this file."
"That's not what you asked me," she griped, then backpedaled into, "I'm trying to tell you why I'm not in the file. But in order to tell you that, I have to tell you what was left out of the file first. I'm getting to the point, I just… there's a lot of shit to sift through."
Nick nodded like a patient father (yeah, right). "Just the good parts then."
"Yeah," she nodded quickly, "just the good parts..."
"The good parts, uhm. Well he did learn to trust me. I barely had to do anything just… let him try to kindle a relationship between us. I started calling him dad at his request, nobody bothered me or questioned me after that and I didn't abuse it, expect on the downlow giving info to the feds. He liked that about me– he liked me. We'd talk about my mom and he'd let his guard slip, started taking me to his meetings and asking me to deliver his important paperwork."
"I let him think I was with him and documented everything I could for six more years." In truth, she had had some doubts. About putting him away and the vacuum of power it would create, about the dichotomy of good versus evil, about her career. In that last year, she had actually warmed to the idea of becoming a detective and getting to do work with her own moral backbone and not someone else's. "We made the arrest January 19th and put him away for a dime."
Nick leaned so far forward in his chair Rob had to lean back. "This is the part where you wrap it up, sweetcheeks."
Robyn gulped. "Gomer and Valentine pushed me out. They'd been acting really strange at the end, wearing these shit eating grins and looking at each other, and then they iced me out. Had me fired on the grounds that I was too close to the perp, used a fucking Christmas photo for evidence. There went the Italian mob's heir and seven years of hardwork, and I wouldn't even be mentioned by name in the case file. No testimony, no credit, just a dishonorable discharge and dumped on my ass in the streets."
"Wow." Nick rubbed a hand down his face like he was the exhausted one. "That's quite the story, princess."
He looked at each of his mates, every face stonier than the last. Especially the silent one's, the latino guy. Then he looked back at Robyn and smiled with a lot of teeth.
"I do have some questions though, if you'll let me." Sure like I have a choice. "Now it wasn't public knowledge you were in on the investigation, but I find it hard to believe your dad's lackeys didn't know it was you who turned him in. And what I find even harder to believe is that they'd let you live for it."
Robyn said nothing. There was a part of her that didn't quite grasp it either. When she had arrested him, when she'd slapped the cuffs on him herself and read him his Miranda rights, after the shock of her betrayal wore off, Tony had congratulated her.
"I'm proud of you, kid. You may be a narc but at least you got your head straight. You got guts, kid."
As far as she understood it, his last order as the leader of the mafia was not to harm her in any way. Nobody bothered her. They still knew her face on the streets, sent glares her way but never touched her. One of his underlings had come to her place and suggested she skip town permanently just to be safe. It was not a courtesy she ever expected from anyone let alone a man with a reputation for high profile robbery and murder.
She didn't know what to expect. "I guess he really did love me." And Nick left it at that.
~
Robyn was unbound, blindfolded, and dumped right back onto the street those so called cops had snatched her from. Her legs shook as she walked the last block to her place, utterly miserable and in desperate need of some sleep. Maybe tomorrow she could figure out what the fuck her life had come to. She showered (and cried) and picked up the half drunk beer from her fridge and brought it out on her front steps, taking a sip of the flat beverage and wishing it was something stronger.
People passed below her on the streets, never once looking up. The traffic never disappeared but it did lull this time of night. She didn't mean to– barely noticed she was doing it– but she found a pack of cigarettes in her overcoat and lit one up.
"Next time," she promised herself. I'll try to quit next time.
Just as she was beginning to ease the tension that had been weighing on her all night, a man climbed the steps to her building and pointedly slowed down to a stop a few feet away from her. She chanced a glare at him and found him no stranger which was somehow infinitely worse.
"Fuck off," her nerves got the better of her, "I told you everything, can't I at least get some sleep first?!"
The man lifted his hands in defense, carrying a bottle in a brown bag in one of them. He was, well, he was the handsome one. The Cuban with the neck tattoo and broad shoulders. His eyes seemed a lot softer now Despite the dark setting.
"Swear on my life, I'm not here for Nick." He took a single step up, waiting to see how she'd react, and when she didn't run, he took another and set the covered bottle down next to her before backing off. Still skeptical, Robyn carefully unwrapped the thing, revealing an expensive looking wine label. Dark red. "It's an apology," he explained with his hands in his pockets, "Nick thinks he's this big, clever actor but he can be a real bully when he drinks."
Robyn gave him the 'do I look like an idiot' eyebrow and he had the decency to look at his feet. "We could really use your help with this, Banks. Nick forgot to mention the part where Tony was put on parole for good behavior. He'll be out tomorrow."
"He what." That's just the thing isn't it? The case that ended her career permanently and he just got to walk off after only serving two years of his sentence. That was the real crime here. Robyn gritted her teeth, gripped the neck of the bottle and squeezed. She started shaking it like it was her criminal father, or the weasel federal agents who took her credit, or the dirty cops who kidnapped her tonight.
Borracho looked concerned. "Do you need a corkscrew or– "
Robyn shrugged off her jacket and looked him dead in the eye as she wrapped it around the base of the bottle and gently banged it on the porch step until the cork exploded into the air (along with a third of the bottle's contents but whatever). Borracho raised a hand to protect his face from the spray, and turned away to hide a silly grin.
"Nevermind," he said, shaking the excess drink off his hand. "Listen, if he calls you about anything, please let us know."
He pointed to the bag, which had a phone number on it. "Don't let your work be in vain."
"You try that line on everybody?" Rob was feeling a little facetious in the face of mercy, over tired from the revelations, and pissed off by these fucking pigs. "Your good cop, bad cop routine needs some balance. Did you know I was kidnapped today? Now this wine is a start but you'd better step it up, good cop."
He started to walk away but she called out, "I got Nick, Z, and Murphy. Clocked 'Gus' by the name written on his underwear. Which one are you?"
"Benny," he threw back, and disappeared into the nighttime traffic.
"Benny," Rob scoffed. "Cute ass."
Robb drank the equivalent of two glasses, then passed out from exhaustion. She slept dreamlessly and tried to forget last night had ever happened. Benny, in the meantime, returned to the office where his crew was huddled around a phone receiver.
"Don't appreciate you throwing me under the bus, B," Nick growled from his seat.
"Shup up and drink this," Benny pushed the glass of raw eggs closer to his boss' hand, a so called 'hangover cure'. Nick shrunk back a little.
"Told you she'd be sweet on him," Z elbowed Murphy in the ribs and ignored his protesting 'um actually I said that.'
"Wouldn't call her sweet," Benny said, grunting as he took up residence at his own desk. "She looked like a feral cat."
Nick laughed. "Yeah well don't go getting mixed up with that pussy, B, we've got work to do."
It was gonna be another long night for everybody.

Love Is Blind: Chapter Thirteen
Robyn cradled Anesa’s sleeping form to her chest as she walked in the front door of her apartment. Chris quietly closed the door behind him as he followed her in.
“You know we could’ve just dropped you off and I would’ve taken Anesa home.”
“It’s not a big deal. It’s late. No need for you to drive so late when my house is right here. Can you grab one of those blankets out the closet, I’m gonna lay her down in the guest room?”
Robyn carefully slipped off her shoes then started down the hall to her guest bedroom. Chris grabbed a blanket out of the hall closet and followed behind her. As Robyn laid Anesa down on the bed, Chris set the blanket over the top of her form then took off her shoes. Robyn brushed her hair behind her ear then kissed her cheek. Chris did the same before they both left out of the bedroom, closed the door, and stopped in the hallway, “you ok?”
“I’m good. Tired but good.”
“Time for you to get to bed then.”
“You coming with me?”
“I think it’s best if I sleep on the couch.”
“You really want to do that?”
“No but it’s still best.”
Robyn giggled as she reached up to unzip the side of her dress and it slid to the floor. Chris bit on his bottom lip, “this is not fair.”
“Who said I planned on playing fair?”
“Robyn, this would complicate things.”
“How?”
“Because I’m gonna expect more than friendship from you.”
“You’re already calling me your girl, I think we’re past that point.”
“Not yet.”
“You didn’t say that the last time.”
“The last time wasn’t the full thing and we already established that it was a one time thing and would go no further. Twice changes things.”
“Then let’s change things.”
“This will not stop at foreplay like last time, Robyn.”
“Ok.”
“I’m serious.”
“Listen, I know exactly what I’m getting into but if you’re scared, just say you’re scared, Christopher.”
“Scared?” Chris said with a chuckle. He leaned down to grab Robyn’s fallen dress as she stepped out of the pile it made on the floor then grabbed her hand, “I’ll show you scared.”
Chris led her into her bedroom and dropped her dress onto the nearby chaise lounge. Robyn sat on the edge of the bed as he closed the door behind her. He leaned against it and folded his arms across his chest. Robyn tilted her head and crossed her legs at the knee as he continued to stare at her, “what’s wrong? You change your mind that fast?”
“No.”
“So why are you just staring at me?”
“I haven't seen you like this in 7 years, am I not allowed to savor the moment?”
“What’s there to savor? We’ve had sex at least a hundred times before.”
“And each time was different and special to me.”
“I’m already naked, Christopher.”
“I know.”
“So you don’t have to talk me out of the underwear I’m not wearing.”
Chris chuckled, “why is it my compliments always have a hidden agenda according to you?”
“Don’t they though?”
“No, they don’t.”
“Chris, what are we doing here?”
“I am savoring this second chance that I have right now.”
“You talk like you’ll never see me again after this.”
“If that is the case, it wouldn’t be for lack of trying.”
“And what does that mean?”
“Life is unpredictable. Me disappearing or never seeing you again is highly unlikely and definitely wouldn’t happen by own choice.”
“Uh huh. Nice cover.”
Chris laughed, “are you gonna ever take anything I say at face value?”
“Sure.”
“You don’t sound sure.”
“Then how about you make me sure.”
Chris pushed up off the door and pulled his shirt over his head without unbuttoning it, “so how new to this are you?”
“What do you mean?”
“When’s the last time?”
“When’s the last time we had sex?”
“So we’re both out of practice then.”
“Some things you just never forget how to do.”
Chris smiled as he came to stand in front of her, shirtless and pants unzipped.
“Are you gonna finish undressing?”
“Why you rushing the moment?”
“Because it’s been seven years, I’d love to know what information you’ve retained.”
“Information about you or sex, specifically?”
“Both.”
“See with you, there’s nothing I could forget,” Chris said softly as he ran his hand over her thigh, “like this scar that you got from trying to do tricks on your bike when we were 14. The faded scratches from when we skipped school by jumping over the fence and you got caught on thorns in some rose bushes.”
“You kissed it better.”
Chris chuckled, “I did. And you gave me your virginity that night.”
“And every night since.”
“I’ve spent the last seven years comforting myself with your memory. Every curve, every scar, every dent just as vivid as the day I first saw them.”
“Why are you telling me this?”
“Because you need to hear it and know it. I never once didn’t think about you even when I tried not to. Where we ended up was never your fault, Robyn.”
Chris smoothed his thumb along her cheek as she bit down on her bottom lip, “I don’t want you to regret tonight. I know emotions are high, we had a great night full of reminiscing and fun but this means so much more to me than that.”
“I know. I wouldn’t give myself to you on a whim, Chris.”
“Good because I wouldn’t take you on a whim either.”
“Love me. Please.”
“Since you asked nicely.”
Robyn giggled as Chris leaned in to kiss her lips. She ran her hands along his shoulders as he steadied his weight on his hands on the sides of her. She moved her hands up to hold onto his face as the kiss deepened. Her body felt warm. Her insides felt liquid and he hadn’t even touched her yet. This is how it had always been. Her body responded to him without hesitation or urging. Over seven years since they had been this way. Seven years of wishing for him to be back in her bed. Seven years of dreaming of him and being angry at waking up to the reality of him not being there. Seven years made her hands let go of his face and grab hold of his pants. Seven years made her push down on the dreaded fabric and slide her hands into his boxers, grab a hold of his massive appendage. It had her pulling back from his lips to nip at his chin while he moaned against the skin of her face. She stroked him gently but with purpose. The veins underneath his skin became more pronounced, the muscle and skin tightened with each pass as he became harder. She kept going until it felt like it couldn’t grow anymore then nudged him to lie on his back. She straddled his lap, his dick settled in the crevice of her backside as she leaned down to kiss him.
“You really should let me do this, Robyn,” Chris murmured softly, “It’s been a really long time for you.”
“Do you think you’re gonna hurt me?”
“Seven years is a long time and I’m not exactly small.”
Robyn chuckled as she kissed his cheek, “No but I think I can handle it all the same.”
“If you’re sure.”
“Are you trying to make me nervous?”
Chris laughed, “no, I’m just trying to protect you.”
“Speaking of protection.”
“In my wallet. Right pants pocket.”
Robyn reached back into his pants that were situated around the lower half of his thighs along with his boxers and grabbed a slim black wallet. She opened it in Chris’s direction and he grabbed three gold wrappers out of a slot.
“Are they still good?”
“Yes, I just started carrying them a few weeks ago. It’s not like I was exactly dating anyway prior to now.”
“Were you plotting on me, Mr. Brown?”
“Well Ms. Fenty, that wouldn’t be very gentleman-like of me, would it?”
“Did you know I still carry your last name?”
“Really?”
“Yes, it’s just hyphenated.”
“I thought you would’ve dropped it by now.”
“I never considered getting rid of it.”
“So technically you’re still Mrs. Brown.”
“Mrs. Fenty-Brown but technically, yes.”
Chris smiled up at her and kissed the palm of her hand, “for that I’ll let you stay on top then.”
“You’re no longer worried?”
“I’m still worried because I don’t want to hurt you not even by accident but I’ll make a concession for Mrs. Fenty-Brown.”
“Will I only have to say my name for you to make more concessions for me?”
“Now why would I answer that and give away some of my power?”
Robyn chuckled, “condom, please.”
Chris carefully broke one condom away from the pack and handed it to her. Robyn flipped around to straddle him with her back towards his face. She carefully pushed his underwear and pants down to the floor, taking his socks along with them before turning her attention to his erect manhood. She carefully ripped the packet, took out the thin rubber item then looked from the condom to his penis, “Babe, are you sure this is gonna fit?”
Chris chuckled, “yes. It’s gonna be snug but if you do it carefully, it won’t rip.”
Robyn frowned then placed the condom and began to roll it on carefully. It didn’t quite make it to the base of the shaft but three-quarters of the way was good enough.
“Does it usually only stop that far?”
“Yes, it’s fine.”
Robyn turned back around to face him and Chris laughed at the look on her face, “you look so concerned. I promise it’s fine. It’s not gonna come off.”
“I don’t know.”
“Sweetheart, it’s fine. You sure you still wanna be on top?”
“Yea but you’re gonna have to help me.”
“I will. Give me your hands.”
Robyn entwined their hands together and Chris squeezed them tight, “Now I need you to lift up, I’m gonna shift into place underneath you and then you can carefully sit down.”
Chris did as he stated then he smiled at her, “you ready?”
“Yes.”
Robyn felt the tip at the entrance to her center and let out a slow, deep breath as she started to slide down. She gasped and dug her nails into the back of his hands as he continued to bury himself inside her. Moments later, she felt him go as far as he could comfortably go and her body started to adjust. It was a pleasant discomfort as her walls carefully stretched, going from a tight fit to snug.
“How you feel?”
“Like I’m losing my virginity again.”
Chris chuckled, “did I hurt you then too?”
“No. It doesn’t hurt now either. Just a little uncomfortable.”
“Is that changing right now? I haven’t moved yet.”
“Yea, I’m adjusting. I think you can move now. Are you gonna let my hands go?”
“Nah, it’ll help me control the rhythm. Just follow my lead.”
“Don’t I always?”
Chris smiled as he pulled her forward so their faces could be closer, “I love you.”
Watching her eyes change colors, Chris kissed her deeply before she could even respond. Seven years of waiting and dreaming, he didn’t want to ruin it with her rejection of being in love with him. This wasn’t the time for that.
Seven years rang in the back of his mind as his body fought to keep his strokes slow, gentle, and precise. He wanted to savor this because who knows if it’ll ever happen again. He needed to feel every dip in her walls as they cradled his appendage. He needed to hear every deep breath she took as he pushed in and pulled out of her. He needed to feel her skin rub against his as she matched his strides. All of that mattered more than anything ever could.
Robyn’s chest heaved as Chris cradled her from behind. Her skin glistened with sweat as her thighs stuck together from her own orgasms.
“I did not know going slow could do that.”
Chris kissed her shoulder and the back of neck on the tip of her spine, “Only if you do it right.”
“And My God, you did.”
“Don’t stroke my ego like that. I’m big headed enough.”
“You’re just big to be honest.”
Chris chuckled, “can you go again?”
“I would love to but we have a problem.”
“What?”
“We’re out of condoms.”
“Completely?”
“Yup. You only had six total.”
“We went through six condoms? I didn’t even realize that.”
“It’s at least 12 kids that went down the toilet drain tonight.”
Chris burst out laughing as he rubbed his hand across her belly, “I missed this.”
“Sex?”
“You. Us. Talking and laughing together. I missed this.”
“This does feel good.”
“You sound surprised.”
“I am. I thought I’d feel different about us finally getting here. Like we totally just had sex-”
“Like ten times actually,” Chris interjected.
Robyn playfully pushed back against him, “Christopher. Stop it.”
“I’m sorry. Continue.”
“We’re here in our most vulnerable space and I was expecting to be, I don’t know, afraid, I guess but I’m not. I feel good and comfortable and at peace.”
“Now that I will get big headed about.”
“How about you and that big head of yours meet me in the bathroom?”
“What are you up to?”
“A bath. I’m gonna so sore in the morning if I don’t.”
“You stay here. I’ll get your bath ready and we’ll work on massaging some of those kinks out.  You did a lot of work for a seven year drought.”
“So did you.”
“Yea but I’m a lot to take.”
“Don’t start with me because I might forget we have no protection and I’m not on birth control.”
Chris chuckled and kissed her cheek, “I’ll come get you when the water’s ready.”
                                             ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chris wrapped his arms around Robyn and she settled into his embrace, “good morning.”
“Good Morning, Christopher.”
“How you feel?”
“Sore.”
Chris chuckled as he kissed the lobe of her ear, “sorry.”
“Don’t apologize. I kind of like it.”
“Ok, I take it back.”
Robyn laughed as she turned in his arms to face him. Chris kissed her lips then frowned, “when’d you leave the bed?”
“Why you asking?”
“You brushed your teeth.”
“You cannot tell from that quick kiss.”
“Yes, I can. Your mouth tastes minty.”
“Well you brushed your teeth too.”
“Yea but I never felt you leave the bed.”
“I can be quiet when I need to be.”
“You weren’t too successful last night.”
“Let’s be glad your daughter sleeps like a log then.”
“Yea, that’s not a discussion I’m ever looking forward to.”
“Well I’ve been around her a while, how is she feeling about this?”
“She wants to know why I haven’t made you her mommy yet which led to really awkward conversation about this not being that type of relationship. But of course all she does is say that I need to work on making it happen so.”
Robyn laughed, “she’s a smart girl and a bit of a romantic.”
“She just really wants a mommy and she likes you so that’s all this is.”
“Which is understandable.”
“So how are you feeling?”
“I thought you asked me that already.”
“I did and I’m asking you again in a different way.”
“Do you think I regret last night?”
“I don’t know but that’s why I’m asking.”
“I don’t regret last night. I am unsure of where we’re going this morning, absolutely.”
“Listen, I was talking cocky yesterday but honestly, we’re going wherever you feel most comfortable going.”
“Why you backing down from what you said?”
“Because it’s not my place to box you into anything. Honestly, us having sex doesn’t have to change things.”
“But it does. And I know you aren’t naive enough to believe that it doesn’t.”
“Definitely not naive but we both still have a choice.”
“You can’t tell me that you see me the same way now than you did prior to us having sex?”
“Depends on how you thought I saw you before. I told you that I still love you. I told you that I’m in love with you so for me yes, I do see you the same way. I am not cocky enough to think having sex with you will magically change how you see our relationship.”
“How do you think I see our relationship?”
“I think you don’t want it to be serious. I don’t think you’re looking for commitment but you are looking for exclusivity. I don’t think you have any plans on taking this farther than we have already gone because you aren’t going to risk your heart with me. You’ve opened up to me. You’ve been honest with me. You’ve accepted my friendship. You’ve forgiven me but you still don’t trust me and you don’t trust yourself with me. There’s nothing I could say or do that would’ve made you have sex with me unless you already wanted to and that premise applies to everything else. You’re here with me because you want to be but you will not get serious with me because you don’t want to.”
“Christopher.”
“Robyn, I don’t need you to placate me or anything. I’m a grown man. I can handle it. You look happy and I don’t want to ruin that by placing expectations on you and our relationship. Things will change only if we allow them to. I don’t want to take away your options.”
“Why do you keep coming back to that?”
“Because it’s important. It matters, Our marriage and subsequent divorce matters, regardless of how much we pretend it doesn’t. We’re exes and that colors this entire situation a lot.”
“It sounds like I’m the problem.”
“I wasn’t asked who was the problem. You asked me how I think you see our relationship.  That’s what I’m answering. I don’t think there is a problem. I also don’t think we have to rush to do something with our feelings just because we’ve defined them. I am not upset or dejected or disappointed because I don’t have the right to be. You have a right to live your life as you see fit and if I can’t get along with what you want to do, I have the option to leave. I’m choosing to stay so clearly I’m fine with our arrangement.”
“And if I never come around?”
“Then you just don’t come around and we’ll have to deal with our separate consequences of that.”
Robyn turned on her back as Chris moved his arms from around her. He stretched his arms above his head then climbed out of the bed and pulled on his boxers, “I’m gonna check on Anesa. We need to be heading out soon.”
“Chris, you don’t have to go.”
“I know but I’m getting the feeling that I’ve overstayed my welcome.”
                                       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Robyn, what the hell did you do?” Leandra asked as she walked into Robyn’s house.
“Well Hi, thanks for knocking,” Robyn replied sarcastically.
“I used my key, but forget that. What happened with Chris?”
“Nothing happened. Why are you asking me that?”
“He rescinded his acceptance to my birthday party. What is going on?”
“Why don’t you ask him? I haven’t done anything.”
“I don’t believe that. Y’all were all lovey-dovey at my party. You looked like mother of the year with Anesa and now he just randomly pulls out of my event. Something happened.”
Robyn sighed as she started to scroll through her phone. Leandra’s eyebrow cocked up and she pressed her hand to her mouth, “wait a minute, y’all had sex, didn’t you?”
“Yes, we had sex.”
“And it made things worse?”
“No, it made things clearer and I am clearly woefully unprepared to deal with this new Chris.”
“Did he do something wrong?’
“No but I realized that I am not ready for this and he was very direct in telling me how aware he was of my lack of readiness. I thought I could handle this whole non-committed thing with my ex but that night proved me very wrong.”
“This is unexpected.”
“Tell me about it.”
“So what are you going to do?”
“There’s nothing for me to do. He was right. Everything he said to me was right.”
“What did he say?”
“He said enough.”
“Robyn.”
“I don’t want to talk about it or else I might conjure up some tears after a seven year drought. Just don’t. Ok.”
“Robyn. Sis, you can’t hold this in.”
“There’s nothing to hold in. He sent back my house key. He hasn’t come to see me. He at least answers when I call him but it’s very much generic and non-enthusiastic.”
“Are you in love with him?”
“We had this discussion already.”
“And clearly we need to have it again. If you love him, why are putting all these roadblocks? What are you afraid of?”
“I don’t want to send him backwards. I don’t want to go backwards. I don’t want to feel pressured. I don’t want to feel like I’m walking on eggshells. I don’t trust myself to be strong enough for a relationship. I joked that he ruined me but I really think he did. I think he ruined me for him more so than anybody else.”
“Then you need to tell him that.”
“I can’t.”
“You’ve sat up here and told me how much he’s changed but you’re still acting as if he’s the same. I’m sure he’d appreciate you being honest with him even if it hurts his feelings. That man is not stupid, Robyn. He knows there’s something going on with you but it’s your job to tell him. Give him the same courtesy that he’s given you, complete honesty.”
“I can’t do it.”
“You can’t or you won’t.”
“Both.”
“Then I don’t know what else to tell you. He can’t love you from a place of guilt and you can’t love him from a place of fear.”
“Tell me to move on. Tell me that I’m beating a dead horse. Just-”
“I would if that was the truth. You love that man and have never stopped. You have put your love life on hold for seven years because of him. The horse isn’t dead, you’re just too scared to verify that. You love him and you don’t want to love him because loving him puts you at risk to lose him again. The truth is you’ll lose him a lot easier and faster by pushing him away than by being honest with him. It's not in him to suffer just for the hell of it. He won’t make the decisions for you anymore but he will make a decision for himself.”
“So I’ve lost him.”
“If you wanna give up that quickly then I guess you have.”

Rolling my eyes hard while on FaceTime to Chris, you know what why is the man I love, also is the love of my life and I adore him so much, but he is so fucking stubborn. He has his moments where he will leave his ego at the door where he will obey me and what I say and then the next day he will refuse to hear me out or say I am being judgemental and I need to listen to what I am saying to him, it’s always my way, it never is anyways. But I swear he does shit and doesn’t think of the bigger picture at all “you got a face on with me?” So he says “not so much, you could be here with me in Cali but instead you’re there in Virginia about to do something dumb, it’s not even your child to care” I want to tell him no, I want to say to him if you love me don’t go but I know it will fall on deaf ears. I will look like the nasty one and that I look insecure when I don’t “exactly, show my face and go” I sniggered “that is the issue, you know why Chris. Do it, go. I am busy anyways, I think you need a lesson” rubbing my forehead “you are doing the most for nothing, it’s really nothing. But anyways I’m going to go and look pretty” annoying asshole “ok bye” disconnecting the call before he could say anything more, he just wants to annoy me “why does he purposely go out of his way to be an asshole!” I shouted “baby you could have said no, it’s easy” Mel added hearing the whole conversation, this is whole other issue. I don’t like how we are all dating people in the same circle, if shit goes wrong it will affect us “you don’t know Chris like I do, but you know what. Let him go, he hasn’t had the blogs be on his ass, he doesn’t know what it is like being famous and he will soon find out, I want him too. I’m going to rehearsal and ignoring him when he’s getting tagged in false claims, I don’t care for them. I just didn’t want the mess but let him, he will be calling me up saying I didn’t do anything. Let it happen Mel, who am I to hide him when he doesn’t want it from me, but I am angry, and until further notice I don’t want to know” shaking my head, he is going to get a nasty wake up call.
I enjoyed Virginia a lot, I loved how homie it was. I enjoyed my time with Chris, and I loved it all. It was a real good time away to be honest, it was my home when I was doing the exchange programme, I loved that his family treated me well and I feel Chris and I are closer than ever. But he just needs to stop trying to hear his own voice, like he doesn’t need to go but he will. And I can’t wait to hear him call me and say I didn’t do anything when they are dragging him, me. I have become immune to it, Chris will get a lesson in this “you have a face like thunder, the dancers are going to be shook” Mel said through her laughter “oh I’m not angry, I was just thinking. But how is you and Barry getting on? Is he less stubborn than Chris? Does he actually listen” Mel chuckled, she is laughing but I’m not, I hate when Chris is like this. Tries to be the man of our home, he knows damn well he will be crying to me “he’s a nerd, like Chris and I like that about him. He’s easy going, and we talk every day. He said that if we do end up being together and it works out well enough that he would move here and I’m like nigga already!? I mean I am not whipped at all but he’s nice, and easy going” I sighed out “oh brother, now why can’t Chris be this way” my man is a whole pain “because he likes to be the man of the house, I don’t know. Something he will get over but I’m excited” I’m scared of this whole relationship with friends’ things, I am just not sure of what to make of it. I feel like we will be judging each other, maybe that’s me because Chris is being a pain, but I hope it’s not what I assume it will be, I want better for me, for him, for us to be honest.
Tumblr media
Robyn is cute, like she left me her gold chain. I mean it’s cute and small, but she left it behind, I think she did, or she purposely left it here, but I am wearing it anyways. Putting my snapback backwards, I wore the chain anyways, but I am just wearing the minimum, I wore white tee and grey sweatpants. I am just going to go to the thing and then leave, I am there for the free food like the fuck. It’s not even that deep, like I don’t understand why it’s a big thing, I mean I get it but it’s nothing. Go there and leave, that is it. I am late anyways, I told him I am going to go there late because I don’t want to be there all day. They are having the reveal at a hall, so I will turn up and then leave. I showed my face, I am there for my nigga so does it matter. Closing my bedroom door and making my way down the steps “where are you going?” Desean asked me “out, I will be back. Dad, I am borrowing the car!” I shouted; I been borrowing the car every day since being here. I need to get my own car; this is my list for my family. A new car for them, a new home. A bigger one anyways, they deserve it “when will you be back?” my dad asked “I won’t be long, I am going to see TJ” my dad nodded his head “uh, isn’t it Seiko gender party today? I saw someone post a little something about it” nodding my head “anyways, bye” I don’t need to hear anyone speak on this, I know what I am doing. This is my life, I need to take a hold of it in a way of making big money, I need to get into that life. And I think California, well me being in California will do me good. I need that in my life, I need to win big for me and my family and also Robyn, I need to do it for her too.
Locking my car door and making my way to the hall, these Jordan’s I have on right now are brand new, I just bought them today and these sweatpants is what Drake gave me from his clothing line, dope. I ain’t dressed up, I ain’t even shaved so if anyone thinks I made the effort then they lying as fuck. Licking my top lip pulling open the door to the place, I told TJ I am coming, and he came to meet me “I am so fucking happy to see you my brother” TJ hugged me “nigga got a whole fucking clown suit on” Barry snorted laughing “I had to look the part, I got the Burberry tie on. Man, my momma is so happy about this. I hate it” moving back from the hug and dapping Barry “well of course you ain’t going to be happy, shit was a mistake” I chuckled “is Seiko brother’s here?” not like I care “mhmm yeah, they trying to beef me up but whatever” of course “I am hungry, where the food at. There better be chicken wings” rubbing my stomach “nigga I paid half, I made sure there was. We wait on you so come. We can get some alcohol and food” nodding my head, least they waited on me. I don’t care for anyone, just my brother’s.
Licking my fingers as I placed the paper plate down, I am getting weird looks from people I don’t know “little rat, why you keep coming here?” TJ said to his sister “can I get a picture with you?” wiping my hands on my sweatpants “who?” I asked “you” she pointed “me!?” I spat half confused “can I? I want to tell my friends that I know you because you date Rihanna!” she half shouted, I chuckled “who is Rihanna? I don’t date Rihanna ma, see. The pictures you see they are photoshopped. I am single” I lied, but she doesn’t believe me. She seems more disappointed that I even lied to her, she looked down at her phone “my sister is pain bro, like she into this celebrity shit. Like live you damn life “look” she patted my lap, turning to her “oh wow, who is that woman?” she out here pulling out receipts of Robyn and I “stop lying, can I please have a picture with you. You’re super famous now” she is tripping “I am not famous, my god. It’s me Chris! I ain’t had this before with you” TJ nudged me “just do it bro so we can get rid of her” taking in a deep breath “fine, come here” waving her over “TJ take it” she passed her his phone and she openly sat in my lap, I ain’t into this picture thing “you look so annoyed, smile for me. Quick” I grinned at the camera “now go away! Leave us alone, dang” that is the weirdest shit to happen to me today.
Sitting back in my seat as TJ made his way to his baby mother, I find this hilarious to me. I know this nigga hates this, but he is putting on a front, I am so happy it wasn’t me. Chewing on my bottom, Seiko and I eyes met and she is just blatantly staring at me in a room full of people, I mean I wish she looked away, but I can tell she regrets things, she looked away as she should. Clearing my throat looking away laughing to myself “you look well Chris” looking to the side of me “I do? You look well too Kristie” moving my arm from the chair “you’re rather the celebrity in this joint, kind of knocked my best friend off her pedestal” moving my chair away from her as she sat down “I don’t bite, I mean you should know that” rubbing my hands against my sweatpants “I ain’t do shit, I come here to support my friend” there is one thing, I never fucked ugly bitches and I love that for me “likewise, she does love you and still does” I sniggered “right, and having sex with my best friend made that right” she pointed at me “you sir are a hypocrite, you fucked all her friends” shaking my head “she was right there, y’all was ok with it. She knew it was wrong from jump with TJ. She knew that” is this girl being real right now “I never liked her like that anyways, that is the point. I am happier, away from her” Kristie laughed “who wouldn’t be dating Rihanna? She is beautiful and rich, you tell me Chris did you purposely take her there to get with Rihanna?” shaking my head “I didn’t think Rihanna would even remember me like that, I love her so much and I don’t pass around that word much so you can’t say it’s like that when it’s not. Nothing to do with being rich, she is my childhood sweetheart” I don’t care, I will tell the whole world “that sent my friend a shut up letter, Seiko loves you still. I say good riddance, she says she lost but you look well. Better then I last saw you naked” she winked at me “it’s the tan” she got up from her seat “I suppose” watching her walk off, now I should have dated her between her and Seiko.
I clapped seeing that my friend is having a son, happy for him. I think if he was having a girl he would be even more depressed “are you dating Rihanna? You’re the guy she is dating” this girl pointed me out, I stopped clapping “huh, what?” I said all confused “you’re like the guy Rihanna is dating, she was in Virginia and she was at her old school, oh my god you are actually him. I follow him!” she shouted “I am just a regular dude” I put my hands up, in my defence I am “can we like take a picture with you? You are literally the sexiest light skinned nigga. I get why she would date you” I chuckled “I will pass on the photos” I walked by them “congratulations brother, a boy” dapping TJ “I am so happy, like I don’t know what I would do with a girl. Now you need to have a boy, then Barry we all going to have a day care” shaking my head laughing “you need to get Rih pregnant, on god” I shushed him “relax on that, she busy now. But I am happy for you” hugging him “thank you” I know he appreciates it “nice seeing you here” Seiko spoke to me, I stepped back keeping my distance “for TJ, I am going to see to Barry” dapping TJ walking off.
Barry is eating again “people are weird here, they all are speaking on Rihanna and I am her boyfriend. I am but the fuck. I am just a regular dude” Barry is stuffing his face “that makes you famous by affiliation now Chris, you famous” furrowing my eyebrows “that is bullshit, anyways. Kristie came up to me. Started speaking on Seiko still in love with me and shit. This is why I ran here but I think it’s my time to go” I think I do “can we talk?” Seiko is right there “about what? There is nothing to talk about” Barry stood next to me, I ain’t moving anywhere with her “did you go to her concert to get back with her, I hate myself. She was laughing at me all that time when she took you from me” taking in a deep breath “I was never yours, yes I was with you. I dated you but it really meant nothing when I always loved her, I did. I wish you let me go, take off my pictures. Move on, so you can be happier in yourself also. I came here for TJ, not to see you. I am going Barry, good luck with that” I pointed at her bump as I walked off, all I know is that I am in my city but people are acting mad weird now with this Rihanna shit and I want to run home.

YES NO
VALENTINE’S DAY ALPHABET   !
Y: YOURS.  does your muse get protective easily? I think he can be if he’s really worried, but if his partner is strong and capable, he trusts them. He’s not a knight in white armor.
E: EMBRACE.   does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like? Clover wants to be held so bad. He carries a lot of people. He is everybody’s shoulder, I just think he deserves a moment of respite. His hugs are the best. He will shelter you in his arms. He has big strong arms that are just perfect, absolutely perfect for hugs.
S: SWEETHEART.   did your muse have a childhood sweetheart? The closest to a love interests is Robyn uwu and Briar @hopeandharmonizing was an academy interest as well.
--
N: NAUGHTY.  what is your muse like in bed? He loves giving oral. He really aims to please his partner first before himself. He can go slow, take his time, or be passionate and forward, depends entirely what the partner wants, you know. He’s also very charming, I think. Like, with a new partner, he’ll ask “anything I should know about before we begin?” or ask permission before doing something to their body. Aftercare is also so very sweet. He’ll carry them to the bath or cuddle them. I just think he’s very good at sex. Anyway.
O: ODE.   does your muse have a way with words?  I think if he has feelings and wants to speak them, it’s directly how he feels. “I love you always, I can’t quit you, I’m complete when I’m with you” are examples of what he’s said and to him, that’s the truth, but for everybody else listening in, it’s cheesy or romantic or poetic. I think without even knowing he has a way with words and it’s just him being honest .

58. Part 6
Tumblr media
I have found Nalah, now I have found one person within this building, but I don’t know where Maurice is “isn’t it boring not being able to party right?” Nalah said, pulling the chair out “trust me I know. I feel like I am boring” sitting next to Nalah, I don’t think I am boring, but I have a lot to think of. I have a lot on my mind, good and bad “stop it, we are pregnant buddies. You could be me, ducking from my baby father too” she added, she got a point. I am still searching for Maurice in the crowd, I mean he can’t have gone far “Nalah..” I drifted off “you think things have changed for me after today?” this is a serious question because I feel the difference, the looks and glares. My phone is blowing up, just a whole mess I don’t know “probably not the same no, I mean you are now more exposed and connected to the company more then ever before. I mean yes you are doing your own thing, but you have the likes of Jay Z working with you, you telling me people are going to see you as normal? You have Bey hugging you, the Saudi prince shaking your hand with the utmost respect. The pictures are all there, and then you have my brother praising you and showing you off. Honestly, shit won’t be the same, Robyn I couldn’t find a decent man! They were with me for the name, not me. I always struggled, even now. My life is not normal, they also didn’t like the power I held, they found me to be dominant, but my dad bought me up like that, and then when they met my family Maurice would scare them. So, I ended up with Shawn and even he is useless. It’s hard Robyn, and I would be lying to you if I said that life would be the same, no it won’t. It’s something Maurice needs to help you with, from being a normal girl to having your name known, it’s annoying. And with you, they want to use you for modelling, people find you beautiful and you are. But also, they find it a mystery on how you got this jerk to be so in love. My brother was a jerk. But don’t worry about it, take it a day at a time, you are strong” I cooed out, I didn’t think Nalah saw me as that “I am slightly scared, I feel like people hate me when I did nothing?” it’s crazy “you married a billionaire out of nowhere, if they hating and they are girls, then they wanted him” nodding my head slowly.
“Bingo” I said to myself, I found the man himself “hello ladies” oh god no, why is his mom here. She really hates me, harassing me to the death. Joy sat down with us “I thought you went home with dad?” Nalah said “he can snore on his own tonight; I am here to party with my son. Look how happy he is, he’s always happy when he’s intoxicated” glaring at her “I mean who would find that a good thing?” I had to say it “yeah mom, that is weird. He is simply happy” Nalah agreed with me “oh you piped up, since she is around she has nothing but broke this family apart” my eyes bulged out “me!? Your family was broken anyways, you broke this family when you fucked Marquis’ brother!” I shouted, Joy’ eyes widened in shock “oh god, please not now” Joy is not uttering a word “I am sick of you coming to me, telling me about me and how I should be careful. Bitch I think you need to be careful; I fucking think you need to take that money you got and run! You run as fast you can, we all know about Malik. If you were such a good mother then what happened to Malik, Nalah this has to be done. You don’t fucking speak on my man like that again. He is having fun; you are jealous of your own kids!” I pointed, Nalah grabbed my hands “Robyn, please let’s not do this now” Joy got up from the chair, she needs to be scared “get of my face” I am so angry right now.
Joy stormed off “I am sorry Nalah, your mom has been chasing me and harassing me telling me that your family are going to kill me, I need to be careful. She is trying to plant seeds in my mind, trying to scare telling me this is just the start. She thinks I am her; I am not here for the money. I feel bad because that is your mother though” Nalah sighed out “I am not close to my mother at all, she is there. But I can imagine she has been doing that, she finds you a threat. I know she does. She sees that you came in, you have made a point when she has been struggling for that. You have no prenup and that annoys her, she said it to me and has been telling my dad to tell Maurice off. When I was sat there she said that Maurice is making a mistake, she will bleed the company dry she is a nobody but my dad said so were you, just that I didn’t want to do that with you” Nalah drifted off looking behind me “oh god, she is harassing Maurice now” looking behind me “oh god” quickly getting up, Nalah ran ahead of me but in these heels I am not running for anything, knowing my clumsy ass I will fall. Seeing Matt running over “no, leave it. Just don’t make it worse, it’s just a disagreement!” I shouted over to Matt, when there are too many people then it just gets worse “ask her! She is right there!” Joy shouted, Maurice looked at me and this man is sure as hell intoxicated “saying I enjoy being intoxicated” he slurred out, my mouth fell open looking at Joy “you are a fucking liar” I lunged pointing at her “Robyn! Robyn, no stop it” Nalah grabbed my hands “Maurice that is untrue, mom you lied. You said it about Maurice now please can we just calm down. We look crazy” moving back looking at Maurice “you believe that?” grabbing his arm, he is so out of it “no, what!? Look I don’t know, I just want to party” frowning at him “I said the same thing but she said you are a concern, she came at me earlier too Maurice” Joy said, I want to kill this bitch “Maurice, listen to me. Listen” grabbing his arm “she has been telling me that your family will kill me, she is threatening me, she is manipulating us. She is" oh god, now I am going to cry “why you crying? What the fuck, why you crying” this is too much, he is out of it and now I look like a liar “because your bitch of a mother is lying and you stood there staring at me like a fucking fool. Get rid of her now” Maurice groaned out “y’all niggas are annoying, leave me alone” Maurice walked off not before he near tripped over himself “mom go, this was not nice at all. You lied, I saw it” staring at Joy “next time shut your mouth” she smiled at me saying “ignore her Robyn, we all do” walking off, ignore her she is a fucking maniac and they are out here just saying ignore her. She is running wicked in this place.
Drying off my hands “my niece not tired yet” looking in the mirror, I forgot about my auntie “you are still here?” throwing the paper towel in the trash “yes, I never left. I rubbed shoulders with Jay Z, I shall not wash this dress, I tried to bag myself an Arab man too. What a life to live Robyn!” I sniggered “not exactly” another cubicle door opened, I didn’t want to say much “oh hi” the white lady said “hi” I breathed out “I am Marquis’ sister in law” letting out an oh “you look so sweet, I love the dress” she complimented me “thank you” smiling at her “I am Robyn’ auntie” here she goes, she should come with a business card “I can tell, you all look so beautiful” moving to the side to let her get a paper towel “do you live in Texas?” I asked “I do, it’s lovely there. I mean I do love coming to Cali, but Texas is my home” nodding my head “is it a big family? The Davenport family” she dried off her hands slowly not saying a word “it’s a big family yes, I have been married to Freeman for twenty seven years now, we were young when I met him. There has been a lot of trouble but what do you expect with such a big family right. We like to keep things close to us, I heard you are getting married though, welcome to the family. It’s nice to have a new face to the family, we all lose a little normality when you enter this family” nodding my head slowly “we heard that you are very headstrong with a beautiful heart, that is what Marquis said, must be nice to be that headstrong and have an opinion in this family” I smiled faintly “he is a sweetheart, but it was nice to meet you” let me not dig into the family too much, this is something Maurice should just tell me.
I really want to go, but with Maurice. I just went outside to get some air but I will now try to get Maurice to leave with me this time around. Making my way back inside, oh great that stupid cousin of his, he smiled at me as we walked by each other “oh, hold up” he said, turning around “I just wanted to say, I love the length of your legs. I understand Maurice’ pleasure in wanting you” my face dropped “what crack do you family members smoke, that is rude as fuck” I said in utter shock, he laughed “it’s a joke, come on. But if Maurice ends up dying early, I can take his place also” am I in a nightmare because if I am, I need to wake up “don’t look so shocked now” he laughed as he proceeded to walk off, I need to get out of here because what the fuck is this, is his family all out to fuck each other over and make sure things are a mess. Yes, I am done, I need to go. Applying lip gloss on my lips as I made my way back into the hall, I don’t care if he is half wanting to stay here he is coming back with me. Placing my lip gloss in my bag and looked around me “Robyn! Girl, the party is amazing. Congratulations to you also” Ally raised her glass to me “thank you, where is Maurice?” she may know something “not my problem, out of office hours” she danced away from me, it’s like I am living in this nightmare and everyone is nonchalant towards this “hey” I jumped “Jay” I breathed out “just come back from your mothers home, everything ok here?” he asked “no, I need to find Maurice. I need to leave with him, there is a lot of backstabbing and shit floating around, it just seems like I have been ditched and I have his family members getting at me and he is there getting drunk” Jay placed his hands on my shoulders “I am here now, it’s ok. We will get this dealt with” I thank god for Jay “where is Lenny? He was supposed to be with you” Jay asked “I said I was ok, he left. Not his fault” I should have kept him close “I am going now Robyn, but it’s been nice” Shawn said as he was walking by “hey! Shawn!” I shouted; he knows this family more than me.
We stepped outside to the reception area with Jay “I know you and Maurice aren’t speaking much but you know this family more than I do, I have been harassed!” I spat “yeah, I saw that they were celebrating with Maurice, I mean celebrating in quotation marks. They don’t like dude but bought drinks for him, shots to celebrate. They got him drunk, one was ok but then it kept coming. Doesn’t shock me that they harassed you, it could be a ploy to get at you, that wouldn’t shock me. Nothing really shocks me with that family to be honest. I mean first of all; this is full of them. I have never been to an event where every single person in that family all came. I mean in someway they need to ruin his day or even him” Shawn shrugged “Joy has been starting on me the worst, she lied on me too to Maurice and it was like he just didn’t care, like he questioned me when I said I didn’t. Joy and I have been going at it anyways. This can’t be normal Shawn” he laughed “keep your man close to you Robyn, get him home. I wish I could say they are normal, they not. The rich are the most fucked up people, get him home. Sober him up, get to business. Jay keep her safe though, just go home now” Shawn walked off.
Jay pointed “he’s there” he is sat down, is he done from partying now “thank god” I said under my breath, I want to beat his ass while he’s at it though. Walking around the tables, his head is bobbing around so much, he is very drunk then “Maurice, hey” lifting his head up with my hands “wow, where you been Bon?” he laughed lazily “let’s go home, come on. Jay help him up” Maurice laughed “I like this song! I’m still in love with you” he sang, Jay held him up. His shirt is all untucked, tucking his shirt in “do you have your mobile with you? You got everything” I am not even sure if he will be even able to walk, putting my hands in his pockets. He has his phone and some paper, pulling the paper out from his pocket “hey, hey. Who is this beautiful girl?” Maurice slurred out laughing “wait, who are you?” seeing the note, frowning at the mobile number and a love heart. Looking up at Maurice, he is slapping Jay’ face laughing “get me her number” he said and near fell forward but Jay got him, folding the paper back up “come on” I am not taking this literal at all because it could be anything, but I would like to know who puts love hearts on a number. Maurice is laughing looking at me “ah, it’s wife. One, one. Two” he touched his chest “good, can we go now” I just want him asleep and back to normal.

Note
What are some underrated pairings for your au ladies you would like to see more
For
Emerald
Robyn
Stev
Slutty Ali
Dragon Taboo
Emerald x Aegon. They need more time together. I don't think Aegon (in this AU anyway) would fully be the sweetheart Aemond is but maybe he could be slightly calmer.
Robyn x Oberyn. I have a soft spot for them and his lady friend too ;) He is such a tease!
Stev x Rhaenys. All these men around her; she needs a women's touch. I feel like Rhaenys would be a soft dom and it would be hot.
Ali x Corlys. Show Viserys what he could of had. ooh..what about Cregan? Imagine him being college friends with the boys or something.
We so need to name this wife oopsie Her x Rhaenyra. Feel like the wife would not see that coming that Rhaenyra would want to play with her.
What about you? Anything you would like to see? x

The Beginning... Episode 1 Part 2
Okay, wow. People really want this series to be a thing. So, wish granted! I’m super pumped for this! thanks for all the positivity you sent my way. I’ll try to live up to your expectations.
Also, an important note. In this AU, there are no pre-existing romantic relationships between the Smashers. Trust me, there will be. But this way there will be more room for drama.
Enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*The Smashers have assembled in the amphitheater at Camp Smashanakwa. The show is on, and the teams are about to be forged. Ganondorf stands on the stage in full on Host mode.*
Ganondorf: Welcome back to Total Drama Smash Bros, brought to you by Lon Lon Milk! The coldest and most refreshing milk in the Chosen Kingdom. 9 Nine out of 10 Hylians recommend it!
Link: It's true.
Zelda: We're addicted. *Chugs a bottle of 2%*
Ganondorf: Now, before we can divide up these poor suckers into their teams, we need to introduce the rest of the staff! First off, is chef Ridley, who will be bringing you all your tasty camp treats.
*Cut to Ridley in the kitchen with a chainsaw and a suspicious bulging bag slung over his shoulder, dripping with blood.*
Ridley: HOPE YOU LIKE PORK! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! Revs up the chainsaw
*Cut back to the amphitheater*
Ganondorf: Next is King K Rool, who will be managing our... forest friends.
*Cut to King K Rool in front of hundreds of giant cages all filled with monsters from various games*
K Rool: You just need to feed them properly.
*A couple of unpaid interns are dumped into a cage with a King Dodongo.*
Intern #1: Meh, still better than studying for finals.
Inter #2: THIS DOES NOT EXPAND DONG!
*Cut back to the amphitheater*
Ganondorf: After that is Bowser, our resident tinkerer!
*Cut to Bowser, working on a massive electrical bear trap.*
Bowser: My motto is, if it can be electrical, it should be! Buahahah!
*Cut back to amphitheater.*
Ganondorf: And finally, Wolf! Our handyman.
Wolf, off to the side smoking a cigarette: I fix your toilets. Piss me off at your own risk.
Marth: I'm beginning to suspect that Master Hand is angry with us, putting these lunatics in charge.
Erdrick: Ya don't say?!
Ganondorf: Anyway! Time to make our teams. *A bokoblin walks onstage wearing a pink glittery dress. It holds a bag full on envelopes.* Simply come up and choose an envelope. If the paper inside is green, then you're a Crying Goomba! If it's red, then you're an Ugly Koopa!
Red: Wow, you're not even trying to hide your pettiness.
Ganondorf: Nope!
*The victims- I mean contestants one by one took up envelopes from the pink dress clad bokoblin. In the end, the teams were as follows*
*Crying Goombas: Link, Daisy, Ike, Leaf, Red, Corrine, Joker, Rosalina, Marth, Bonny Janet.*
*Ugly Koopas: Samus, Zelda, Roy, Pit, Dark Pit, Robyn, Lucina, Captain Falcon, Peach, Erdrick*
Captain Falcon: Aw yeah! Let me hear ya my Koopas!
*Silence, crickets chirping.*
Captain Falcon: Come on guys! We're doing this anyway, least we could do is be pumped for it!
Zelda: Sorry Captain, but we're far more worried about what insanity Ganondorf is going to inflict on us.
Captain Falcon: True... but still! Twenty million big ones!
Peach: At least five of us are royalty. We've got more than enough money. We're just doing this because we want to remain Smashers.
Daisy: And being responsible monarchs means we can't use much of the royal treasury for ourselves. It'll be good to have some pocket change.
Marth: ...Well when it's said like that it seems kind of arrogant.
*Sure enough some of the less monetarily inclined Smashers are looking at the royals with a bit of resentment*
Ganondorf: Ha Ha! Finally some seeds of drama! But, for now, one final bit of exposition before we get the ball rolling!
*a screen descends and shows a picture of a shoddily constructed outhouse*
Ganondorf: This is the Den of Confession. It's a completely private place to air your dirty laundry and darkest secrets. I guarantee you that no one will probably won't not maybe possibly never not see it.
Everyone: …
Dark Pit: Do even you know where you went with that?
Ganondorf: Nope!
-
Inside the Confessional
Zelda: Darkest secrets huh... … … … … I'm... I'm not actually a blonde. My hair is bleached. … … *she suddenly jumps onto the camera* GIMME THAT TAPE!
-
*The smashers and new teams now find themselves on the beach where Ganondorf is standing with Bowser Both Ganondorf and Bowser are clad in the loudest Hawaiian swim trunks in history.*
Ganondorf: Welcome Smashers and viewing audience to your FIRST CHALLENGE!
Pit: Ooh! Ooh! Are we playing voleyball! I love volleyball!
Dark Pit: *smacks Pit upside the head*
Pit: Oww!
Dark Pit: Of course not you idiot!
Ganondorf: Actually, my emo feathered moron, we are playing volleyball!
Dark Pit: Wait- what?! That's it?!
Ganondorf, a shit-eating grin on his face: Weeeeeeeellllll.... not really. See we're going to be playing...
Samus: This is going exactly where I think it is isn't it?
Ganondorf, pulling out a Bomb-bomb with the fuse lit: VOLLEY-BOMB!
Samus: Yup.
*Ganondorf throws the bomb at the Smashers*
Ike: HIT THE DECK!
*The Smashers jump for cover as the bomb lands... and nothing happens. It's a dud.*
Ganondorf: HAH! Classic.
Bowser, producing a massive sack filled with bombs: These bombs were designed by yours truly! They're programmed to only explode when they hit the ground, so keep them flying! Cause if they touch down... well you get the idea.
Ganondorf: The rules are simple. The Goombas and the Koopas will each split into two teams of five. There will be two games of 5 v. 5. Whichever team wins both games wins invincibility... and a prize! The loser team will vote someone off the Island tonight.
Peach: Uh, excuse me! But what if both teams win a game?
Ganondorf: Oh. Well, in that case, we'd have to hole... … the tie-breaker. MUAHAHAHA! *Ominous lightning flash*
*Silence. Crickets chirping.*
Ganondorf: Well, hop to it!
-
Inside the Confessional
Bowser: I'm a little worried about Big G. He's... he's getting really into this whole reality TV deal. Way more than is probably healthy.
-
Inside the Confessional
Link: Hey, maybe Ganondorf has found his true calling an he'll leave Hyrule the fuck alone! But since when am I that lucky huh?
-
With the Goombas
Link: Okay team. I think we need to talk strategy.
Bonny Janet: We're all goon ta' die.
Link: No... we just need to be careful. I have the most experience with these types of bombs, so I should head the first Team 1. Daisy, you're the professional sportswoman so you'll head Team 2.
Daisy: You got it! If I can survive Mario Party then I can survive this.
Bonny Janet: Grate. Soo tha' sissy English Elf is goona ta leaad one tame and the talkin' floowers goon to lead the oother?
Link: You've got a problem with that?
Bonny Janet: Aye ah've goot a problem! Who made ye leader eh?! Ike's goot tha flammin' sword o' fire! E' should lead a team, not the flight fairy o'er dere!
Link: Daisy's got the most experience with games like these. She leads Team 2.
Joker: Uh, not to play Devil's Advocate, but Bonny has a point. Ike does seem pretty fireproof.
Marth: Call it same series bias, but Ike does seem like a good choice. I don't doubt Daisy's abilities, but this seems more like a “let's survive and outlast” situation than a “let's beat the other team into submission” type situation.
Ike: Look, Link, I don't want to be the asshole here, but if the group wants me I'll do it.
-
In the Confessional
Bonny Janet: Dun git ma wrong. Ah' got nothin' against Elfy personally. Boot e's a presumptuous prick if e's thinks e' can joost boss us around like that. We ain'r 'is lackeys!
-
In the Confessional
Link: And like that everyone's suddenly listening to the Scottish Imp of a Pokemon trainer! I mean, I know she's both adorable and hilarious, but you can't just throw strategy out the window.
-
In the Confessional
Daisy: I appreciated Link standing up for me, but frankly I think he was more offended than I was.
-
With the Koopas
Captain Falcon: Trust me guys! I got this one in the bag.
Samus: As much as I want to disagree with Falcon on principal, he's probably right. This does seem like his forte.
Lucina: Indeed. Finally, a use for the meathead.
Captain Falcon: Hey! My brain is made of pure brain stuff. And if it WERE meat it'd be delicious.
Erdrick: *pats Falcon on the head*
Roy: Okay, I say we keep Falcon back until round 2, sort of our ace in the hole okay? Samus, can you handle round 1?
Samus: No sweat.
Roy: Any arguments?
*There is silence for a moment but no one disagrees with him.*
Roy: Alright, move out!
*The Koopas move to leave, but Pit and Zelda are grabbed from behind and pulled behind a large rock by an unknown figure. It turns out to be Peach.*
Zelda: Peach, dear, could you tell me what's going on. I mean, if you want to be behind a rock... with me... I uh... can make some exceptions... but uh... should Pit really-
*Peach smacks Zelda upside the head*
Peach: No you useless lesbian! I'm with Mario remember.
Zelda: Oh. Yes. I see.
Pit: What's a lesbian?
Peach: You'll find out when you're older. But look. Zelda, you're only ride-or-die ally is one the other team right?
Zelda: Now that you mention it... I have been worrying about what to do without Link. I can handle myself but...
Peach: And Pit. It's only a matter of time before Dark Pit gets too annoyed with you and gets you voted off, right?
Pit: No! Pittoo and I are making great progress! This morning he only beaned me in the head with one gallon of milk.
Peach:
Zelda:
Pit: I'm screwed aren't I?
Peach: Not if we stick together! I propose an alliance between us. Together, we'll take each other to the final three!
-
In the Confessional
Peach: I can see that I'm in a bad boat. Both Daisy and Rosalina are on the opposing team, so I'm already out two allies. I know what people think of me, the “useless Princess”. If I don't act fast I'm going home. Zelda and Pit are both sweethearts, and they're bad asses to boot. They'll make good allies.
-
In the Confessional
Zelda: I want to go on the record as saying I do not need Link to survive this place. I already have an alliance of my own! Time to show that Princess Zelda is no damsel in distress!
-
Zelda: I'm on board.
Pit: I dunno... I don't feel right doing this behind my emo brother's back.
Peach: Well with an alliance we can watch out for him little guy.
Pit: You mean it?
Peach: One-hundred percent!
Pit: … Okay, I'm in.
-
Ganondorf, watching on one of his monitoring cameras: Ooh hoo! Looks like some drama is already kicking up! The Goombas in a power struggle and two princesses already teaming up with a gullible Angel! Will Link take true command of the Goombas? Will Peach survive with her new alliance? Find out, here on Total, Drama, SMASH BROS!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And that’s a wrap on part 2! The actual challenge will be in the third and final part of this episode, which will include the voting off ceremony. Let me know what you think! Also, try and guess who will win and be voted off.
Be good people!
